My daughter & I have been coming here for years. Exceptional food! The employees are so warm & treat customers like family. Very clean environment & high quality ingredients. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Great Neck. I particularly love the salads, paninis, and pasta. Highly recommend!!
I have been a loyal customer of Mangia Bene since they opened! Jack and his team are amazing, the service is beyond 5 stars! They have always treated us like family from the very beginning. You are always greeted with a smile from everyone and the atmosphere in the restaurant is far beyond exceptional.
The food will never disappoint and you can always count on every dish tasting just as amazing as the last one you had. You will have a difficult time choosing what to order from the menu, trust me!
We have dined in, had family dinners, family lunches, private dinner and lunch events and ordered take out. Always the food is the delicious, service exceptional and smiles all around.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at Mangia Bene. The menu features a diverse selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts that cater to various tastes and preferences.The service here was also very impressive. The staff working there were attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about the food that they were serving. I especially liked that they were more than willing to offer recommendations and answer any questions my family and I had. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of the food. I felt that the value we received was exceptional, and I'd be happy to return for special occasions, or even just for a casual meal.
Overall, my visit to this restaurant was an exceptional experience that I can't recommend highly enough. It's clear that this establishment is a labor of love, and it shows in every aspect from the menu to the attentive staff. If you're looking for a memorable meal or an experience in a welcoming atmosphere, you must pay this restaurant a visit! Highly recommend!!
Been here a number of times and have always loved both the food and service. We’ve always felt very welcome here. Recently celebrated a family birthday at the restaurant and it was great. Everyone was really impressed by the food and the owners really took care of us. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new place to try. We will absolutely be back.

Been to so many Italian restaurants in the area and this one is my absolute favorite. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. Been coming here for years and it just gets better. We love the friendly staff, wonderful service, very attentive. The owners are wonderful people. They always take care of us. Definitely try all the pastas and Pizza!! 🍕
Been visiting this local neighborhood slice shop for years. Owner is always on site during weekday lunch hours. I always order the Fusili Calbrese pasta to share with my wife. The pizza is always good. Pasta is mostly good, but can be somewhat inconsistent depending on who is cooking that day. Today was very good.
If you are in a rush, just be aware that during the school year, between the hours of 1130am-1230pm, there will be a line and crowd of high school students packing the resturant to get lunch. Kids can be a little rude and space inside the resturant will be crowded. But outside of that lunch time rush, it's much more pleasant. They so have seating outside on the side of the restaurant. Free street parking is abundant and there is also a lot across the street for additional parking. You can also take your pizza to the nearby park where there are tables ans eat outside. Worth the visit.
Eating at this restaurant makes me feel like home. Ambiance is beautiful and the owner makes sure each slice has so much love and compassion! If you want to have the best slice and a smile, come here!
We have frequented this family run restaurant for over a decade. Jack and his team are always welcoming and make the experience personal and special every time. I highly recommend the place not only for the meals and reasonable prices, but the wonderful people that work here.
Visited this restaurant with my husband and loved everything. I am pregnant and the told the owners about my allergies, they went above and beyond to take care of me! Will definitely be back for the lovely food and warm service that Mr.Jack and staff provided.
My wife and I were in the area with our two year old and happened to stop by. Not only was the food excellent, the people were lovely. Jack and team made sure we not only enjoyed the food but our time spent at their establishment as well. Will definitely be back!
