The pizza here is absolutely exquisite. Great friendly staff, and a beautiful building that reminds you of a simpler time. We also had an amazing burger. What stood out to me was how the bun was toasted to perfection. This is the type of place you could stay for hours. Bravo!

This was my first visit to Copper State, which will also be my last. I could tell, early on that this may have been a poor choice. Delays in being seated were followed by an extraordinarily long delay in receiving drinks. Our order for $17 burgers was placed and it was served, within a reasonable time, with BURNT rolls/buns. My guest asked, nicely, only for another roll. Rather than taking the sandwiches back to the kitchen, or offering replacement sandwiches, the waiter departs to return later, with un-warmed or toasted rolls... Now came MY task to attempt a reassembly of my sandwich on a cold roll. After summoning the waiter, again, we asked what we were to do with these cold rolls and sandwiches which had cooled. He had no response. We asked to see a manager, but the manager was said to be working the kitchen... and he walked away. Upon returning he became indignant and refused to even listen to our concerns, claiming that HE had never been treated so badly in a fine dining restaurant. He stormed off, again ignoring our attempts to communicate calmly. He returns shortly to inform us that "It's all free" and told us that we "can leave anytime." We did, never to return. A rude waiter trumps burnt buns at Copper State. BTW, there's a GREAT brew pub right across the street!

We got flights of their beers. Good brews. The large fireplaces at either end of the open space with a moose bust over the fire and an elk gives Hinterland a Lodge feel with a modern flare. Fun place.

Great atmosphere. Wait staff very friendly. Good beer selection. Had this large pretzel appetizer. It was very good.

I’ve lived in Philly, Grand Rapids, Vegas and Portland before moving here. I’ve also experienced many breweries around the country and some outside too. After moving to Green Bay a couple years ago, I decided to give this place a shot. It was busy, so we decide to go upstairs to drink. My girlfriend and I wanted to sample a couple beers each before ordering, so I asked the lady with the septum piercing if she could help us with those. She said the rule was that they don’t allow more than 2 samples per group. I have never in my life come across any such “rule” at any brewery that I’ve been to. As we didn’t like the samples, we ended up ordering a Bloody Mary and a drink of whiskey instead. I requested if I could get my drink on the rocks. I did get it on the rocks and got charged $3 for the ice. The ice tasted pretty much like the ice I make at home, and wasn’t worth $3. I’m sure the place has beer worth trying, but my experience there has helped me conclude that I’m never going back there again. The prices are worth 5 stars, but the service is 1 star. I give this place 2 stars because we met some fun people who were visiting Green Bay for the Packers game. This morning, revisiting my last night’s experience, I also wish I hadn’t left any tip.

Was in Green Bay for a concert Friday (2/11/22) night and stopped here before - first time - awesome place - beer is fantastic - food was good - great bartenders - definitely be back sometime (wish your beer was distributed in the Madison area)

What an excellent choice for dinner in Green Bay! I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of beers made by Copper State. My wife was a bit upset they wouldn't allow her to have a flight sitting in the outside patio, but the food and service more than made up for it! Please, if you go, you simple must try the brussell sprouts! So tangy. So spicy. So crispy! We also enjoyed the fried cheese curds and HUGE Milwaukee Pretzel Company pretzel! The burgers were on par... juicy, unctuous and full of flavor! Definitely give this one a look if your in town!

Great brewery (and coffee shop) near the river in downtown Green Bay. Beer was excellent, and bar tender was efficient and friendly. Nice ambience with lots of exposed brick. Wide beer selection. First time I ever followed a double espresso with a nitro porter. Awesome!

First of all, those darn brussel sprouts are too amazing! Our server was new, however he had awesome knowledge of the menu. I ordered the truffle burger with beer Mac as my side. I wanted some sort of cheese on my burger so he even went and asked the cook which would pair the best. My boyfriend has the rugged north burger with the house salad, we both tried each other’s and wow, everything was phenomenal!! As far as the beer I had the kolsch and my boyfriend had their lager which again was full of flavor and exactly what we needed after a long day of work and school! We have been here before for some drinks which was definitely fun, but this is a Great place and so glad we finally got a chance to have dinner here!

Stopped at Copper State Brewing on our way home to the UP. The aesthetics and atmosphere were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. The beer, however, leaves something to be desired. It isn't terrible by any means, but with the amount of competition and craftmenship today, the beer was very amateur and lacking in flavor. The beers lacked complexity and a pleasing aftertaste. The coffee blond was enjoyable. I cannot speak for the food as we didn't eat here.
This place is still worth giving a try. I don't mean to sound snooty, perhaps it's because I'm from Michigan where our beer is hard to beat.

This is a restaurant first and foremost. It’s not a place to go grab a beer. Staff is very adamant that only the bar is for drinking beer. Tables are for food and the overall vibe is that if you are not there to eat it is not the place for you.

The food is spot on! Chef Scotty does some unique and superb options! The beer is some of the best in Wisconsin and the Country! The Silent Canary is my favorite and a good trading beer. Try it out!

The atmosphere, food, beer and prices are awesome. The only downside for me was how loud it was upstairs. The windows were open so every motorcycle and loud car that passed by sounded like they were driving through the place.

My friends and I stopped in last night for dinner. Two of us arrived together and ordered a drink and food while we waited for our other friend to arrive. I had to ask twice where our drinks were after we ordered because it seemed as though our waitress forgot. My friend also ordered a beer and had to ask for that twice as well. We got our food when my other friend arrived and he ordered a flight of beer. When he asked to order something, our waitress told him the kitchen was closed and that was it. I shared my dinner with him so he had something to eat, I felt just awful, our waitress didn't care. Our burgers were fantastic, we also had the Waygu toast and the old fashioneds were awesome, the service was very slow and not impressive.

The beer was good and the brussel sprouts were fantastic!! But the bartender clearly hated his job. He was throwing things around and was incredibly rude every time we ordered. I was scared to even ask for a glass of water. The atmosphere was cool, but incredibly small. Between the rude bartender and the constant feeling like I was in someone’s way, I was incredibly uncomfortable. I’ll be sticking with my local favorite Titletown where the bartenders are welcoming and friendly.

Great staff! Very accommodating. Father in law in wheel chair and they were extremely helpful!! Love the beer garden!

A cool place; very comfortable with a good selection of beer. I didn’t eat but glanced over and the Brussel sprouts looked awesome. A coffee bar inside as well.

Somebody in that kitchen is having tons of fun. The food was spectacular ! I’d like to know how they pickled the jalapeños to be crunchy still on the charcuterie board and the truffle burger was to die for: perfectly cooked and did I mention truffles ? Yeah, truffles on a perfectly cooked pattie all lovingly nested in a home made bun ... with some arugula on top. The fresh salad had “just a house made vinaigrette”. Which was delicious and I couldn’t tell what was all in but seriously folks, if you get a chance, go pay these folks a visit. My taste buds are still dancing an hour -after dinner, yours will, too! I only had an evening in Green Bay and I don’t regret my dinner choice at all. Yum!

We had a fantastic meal, with the best server we have had in a long long time! Props Lara, you made us laugh so much!

Great atmosphere and service! Only tried their coffee, which was great also! Will definitely be back to try beer and something off the menu!
