Well despite coming to Green Bay for the first time I was expecting high service, decent clientele as well as amiable and informative staff which was unfortunately not. I especially had a bad time when a rude unknown customer who I thought worked here trying to show me what to order. Again how rude? Anyways we came to this Japanese restaurant and saw that all you can eat sushi you ready you can eat sushi. Major disappointment. The shrimp tempura they didn't use the right batter it was too gritty and it wasn't that crunchy that tempura should be made and the tempura dip was not very flavorful. Their traditional sushi which the rude clientele who I thought worked here was giving me information that you couldn't order but you can she didn't understand with her elder husband or boyfriend on the next booth. The hibachi steak was decent at best however they didn't give enough steak meat. I had to order three orders just to satisfy myself. The avocado cucumber salad was decent at best but not the the star of the meal. The waitress didn't seem to know when that she brought the sushi to bring the fresh ginger and the wasabi and she gave my ice cream first before my last order of a hibachi steak. I was going to give three stars but after experiencing this place and how rude people are at Green Bay for the first time and how clueless I don't think I would NOT come here despite the local high reviews on Yelp. Go try something else that is ethnic but Green Bay did not impress me when it came to Japanese if this is the only Japanese restaurant up here. I tasted better back in Chicago and on other states and cities. And staff if not servers need to be more informative and a tentative especially giving water that you have to bother another server

First time at this location and it was a great experience. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I don't remember everything I had from the pictures, but they tasted great! Basically you pay one flat price, either Lunch price or Dinner price, and then eat all you can. You keep the menus and order your next choice after you finish your first. They have a "leftover food" charge added if you do not eat everything so only get what you will eat. Weekends are only Dinner Prices so keep that in mind. Also, try to be early before they open if you go at that time because parking fills quickly and the people show up just as quickly!

Great friendly atmosphere. Food was great too. Waiting for your order wasn't to long too, granted we went it wasn't too busy but peak hrs its alittle different story. Wanted to find a great sushi place and this going to be my go too.

I heard a lot of good reviews about this place and wanted to try it for myself. I was disappointed that the sushi and hibachi chicken was so dry. I couldn't even finish it. The only food I liked was the shumai..The rest was my niece and nephew's food. Took photos for memories. I wouldn't recommend this place and was not worth the $28.

Quite an original concept! All you can eat sushi, hibachi, other Asian fusion foods. It is a little pricey but you need to come in hungry and choose wisely to get your moneys worth. I was a little wary of sushi that was the real and raw stuff so I stuck with safe choices. Not yo say they had any problems here, just have had that issue with other sushi buffets where I got sick. I really enjoyed being able to order sake which was excellent and reasonable. The clear soup was a great start followed by a cucumber salad, some sushi and then a hibachi shrimp dish with ice cream for dessert.
The Decour was obviously remodeled since it’s an old building, but just generally felt a bit old. I was amazed to see different ages of people enjoying sushi, including children.
Our waiter worked very hard to help us understand the menu and the process. I will definitely go back, and be better prepared though to fully enjoy.

Obviously a popular restaurant, the place was packed. Every table had people at it when we got there at 5:30 and there was one couple waiting. We were told it would be 15 minutes for a table, but it was shorter. Not long after we were seated, the waiting area filled up.
At one point during our visit, the apparently ran out of prepped sushi rice and had to make more, a lengthy process. The waiter (Frank) apologized for this and for the wait and offered to get us something from the kitchen, which we refused. I didn't think our wait was very long. Even as busy as they were and with this snafu, we were there less than 2 hours. It is typical for us to have a 1 1/2-2 hour visit to a restaurant, so this was not long by any means.
The food was good. Our normal choices (sushi lover, volcano roll) were delicious as always. I loved the snow crab roll, which had a prominent crab flavor. The garden salad was nothing special, but the ginger dressing was good. We didn't get dessert, as it hasn't been high quality in the past.

$30 for all you can eat dinner is absolutely worth it. The food here is amazing! There are so many choices, if you haven't been here, they serve a lot more than sushi! Steak, dumplings, fried rice, soup, etc. There is a huge selection of sushi rolls, as well. The portions are small so you can try a bit of everything! The wait staff are SO kind and polite! Which is impressive considering they are delivering to multiple tables constantly! I try to come here whenever I am in Green Bay.

The ambiance was a bit darker then you'd expect and the menu needs pictures

Decent price, decent sushi, went with friends from work. It works as both take out and all you can eat, although you get charge for what you don't consume. There's a menu and you can order all from menu. There's more than sushi, there's appetizers including things like crab rangoon, pot stickers and other things. The more exquisite sushi can only be ordered 2 pieces at a time, but you can order like multiple servings of 2 pieces as long as you finish. It gets busy fast and then services can really slow down. Friends say Sushi Island taste better. I really don't care, it's god damn rice and I'm Asian. Seriously, you are paying so much for god damn rice. LOL and later.

This place is amazing! Went with a few friends for lunch and tried many different kinds of sushi. I didn’t even realize I liked sushi until I had it. My favorite so far is the spicy California roll. Highly recommend this place and best of all, the price is reasonable for what you get!

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. When we got there it was a 45 minute which we were fine with but it ended up being almost an hour and a half. There were people that showed up after us that were getting seated before we were. The only reason we got seated was because we said something to the hostess and she found one of many empty tables for us. We waited there for 20 minutes and not a single server came to us. The many that were there just looked at us and acted like we weren't there. We ended up and leaving without even placing a drink order. Waiting that long is unacceptable. It's too bad because the sushi looked dynamite. The sushi chefs were on task and on point but the serving staff was clearly disorganized. Never coming here again!

This place is great. It’s def worth your money. Very good sushi 🍣! Definitely rate this place great and clean. They do charge for every refill on your drink though

Sushi Lover has spectacular sushi options as well as less adventurous options (soups, salads, fried items, cooked fish, rice & noodle dishes with & without meat, onion rings, chicken nuggets, etc) on the menu for those who don’t appreciate the find art of a delicious sushi roll ...which isn’t me. But honestly - all the food is SO delicious. The staff are also GREAT too!

I'm a vegetarian and most sushi places I go to are good at omitting the meat items from the sushi or making special vegetarian ones.
This place said they are unable to remove the fish . The vegetarian sushi(only 3 super basic rolls) is not worth at all the all you can eat. I will not be going back.

I’ve been here three times for lunch and the sushi and appetizers are amazing. I always get the best server, I never catch her name or I just forgot but Blonde w/ glasses!

The sushi was delicious and the service was amazing! The selection is great and
I love that appetizers, soup and salad are included in the “all-you-can-eat” price. Our server was extremely attentive and really friendly. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but that was to be expected since it was very busy. Out of all the sushi restaurants in the Green Bay Area, Sushi Lover is definitely our favorite!!!!

Went for my birthday with my family and had a great experience. Food was wonderful and we liked the variety of the all you can eat menu. Waiter was fun and very accommodating to my gluten allergy. One recommendation: please have gluten free soy sauce. Thank you.

the food was sub-par and it took 3 hours for us to get 4 plates of food! would not recommend going here, we won't be back!!! the restaurant was not busy when we were there, the other people in the restaurant seemed upset about the time it took to get their service also.

Slow service.... low quality sushi that literally the rice fell apart when you tried to pick it up with chop sticks and almost everything is a paste to disguise what the heck you’re eating! The price is outrageous for what you are getting.... island sushi in depere ..(same price) has high quality product but also sushi is a beautiful work of art! and the staff is top notch! What a disappointment!

Amazing service. Our waiter was patient and answered all of our questions perfectly. The restaurant gets busy fast, but customers who are waiting should realize how efficient the staff are, considering the “all you can eat” option.

Sushi Lovers manager Hong obviously does not know how to run a business! He is just plain rude!!!
Sushi here is made with little to no protein but a mouthful of rice to fill you up! I've had better sushi at my local supermarkets!
This place is only getting 4-5 stars for the simple fact that it will cost less than $20/person to eat. Still not worth it! Save your money & find somewhere else to eat...

Food was FANTASTIC! YES, everything is included except beverages. They have some meals (fried rice, etc) as well as appetizers. The crab rangoon is the best I’ve had, the pepper tuna is amazing and not too unhealthy. They serve the basic rolls as well as many larger specialty rolls. Much higher quality than I expected for the price. We had date night- 2 all you can eat meals, a soda and a bottle of hot sake for under $50! (Not including tip.) My only complaint is they had few rolls that were raw but not spicy. (If I’m going for sushi I want raw fish.)

Went on a Saturday evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Arrived around 6:30 to a long line and full house, both good signs. We were told a 40-45 min wait for our party of 3 and were seated in twenty minutes. Our server Danielle, was outstanding ! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. Two of our party were first timers to real sushi and she was very helpful. Amongst the three of us we tried half the menu, and let me tell you, it’s good stuff!! We didn’t wait long at all in between orders and didn’t have to signal or wait for service either, which I fully expected as they were absolutely packed. Kudos to Danielle and Sushi Lover! We WILL be back!!
Rebecca Furst
Great price, friendly staff, and service was very fast! The food was phenomenal, we had a variety of items off the menu and all of it was great. Can’t wait to go back again!!

This place is awesome! They have a little bit of everything for everyone...but my favorite part about this is that their raw fish is some of the freshest I've tasted next to the West Coast! Better yet, they have the correct temp for sushi, too. (Almost completely room temp!) I'm petsonally not a fan of their spicy tuna/shrimp/fish mix they make, just a little too sweet...however, everything else makes up for it! Only been there twice but had excellent servers each time. Only thing that would be nice is having basic BYO sushi for people that are novices and remembering to offer dessert at the end...our last server tonight didn't ask and my husband waited for his dessert that never came. To be fair, they got incredibly busy and I think she wanted to flip the table quicker. Dont screw this up, Green Bay...keep it open! I will definitely be back!!

Great sushi at an unbelievable price! The place was busy, but we were seated right away. The wait staff was friendly and made a great recommendation. I'll definitely return!
