Delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. We tried the brisket (fantastic) and pulled pork (delicious). The mashed potatoes and gravy side was possibly the best I've ever had and the mac and cheese was great as well. I love the different choices of sauces with my personal favorite being the "sassy" flavor.

The food was good, the meat smoky flavor was great and the sides (flavors) were a unique variety. I loved the decor and the awesome view of the woods. It was also very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful; food arrived in decent time. They had fresh limeade/lemonade (I believe) that looked good and the soda fountain was all "Jones" soda. Ordering food was a bit odd - it is basically Counter service where you have to order & pay at the bar and someone will bring your food to you. The lady at the bar was very helpful explaining the system and menu. Someone did clear our plates too. I thought it was a nice experience.

On a raining day I grew hangry while shopping with my friend. My friend told me about this BBQ place. I was not enthusiastic going to a BBQ place. The menu was simple. You place your order at the bar and then go sit down. I ordered the brisket sandwich. Little to my surprise when I put it to my lips it jest felt right. It was not gushy nor dry. Before I knew it, it was gone. I neglected my corny mash. That was the biggest mistake of my life. The view looking out to the creek and woods was fantastic. I recommend eating here.

I really liked the different flavors of sauces and was sampling them before our food came trying to determine what I wanted to out on my smoked chicken....but the chicken was so amazing I ended up eating it without any sauce! I also thought the ribs were terrific too.

I have been looking forward to stopping in since I saw a new BBQ place open in town, and wow, I was not disappointed!
The menu is well thought out, scratch made, and absolutely delicious. Couple a great food menu with a small, but very well put together (and inexpensive) drink menu and you have a great restaurant in the making. The service is friendly, courteous and responsive.
I had the brisket plate, and it was some of the better brisket I've had in the Midwest - beefy, tender, and great smoke flavor with a nice dark bark and pink smoke ring. I typically judge a BBQ place on their brisket, and they do not disappoint in the least.
Another point in which I judge a good BBQ place on is their sides, or as they call them "flavors". And it's another area in which they do not disappoint at all. I tried the fried pickles and peppers, coleslaw and mashed potatoes with corn and BBQ gravy. The fried pickles and peppers were great and surprisingly light. The coleslaw was different than I've typically had, but very good. The mashed potatoes and gravy steal the show however - mashed potatoes + sweet corn + gravy = winner!
The hard part is not trying to figure out when I'll be back, it's trying not to be there every other night.

We really enjoyed our 1st visit at Smokey Ridge. If you love BBQ you should give it a try. They have a great selection of beer as well. We will be back!

Everything my wife and I had was delicious! Ribs, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Definitely recommend this bbq joint. Used Uber eats for this order. Only let down was not getting the key lime pie I ordered but the bbq made up for that.

First time here and will never be back!! Got there on a thursday night for my sons birthday around 6pm and they were out of everything!! Our only menu option was chicken sandwiches and burgers! And to top it off its all self serve! Dont even have someone take your order you go to bar and order! If you want a night out this is not the place!! If you wanna go out and serve yourself and have very limited options on an already small menu then this is the place!!

I enjoyed the Texas Dip, this months special & have tried the wings, both were awesome! The green goddess sauce is a favorite, they also have some of the best whiskey in town!

WOW. The food is amazing, with local meat from Otto's. Ribs that just fall off the bone, a great variety of house made sauces to choose from (seriously a sauce for everyone). We had the GO BAMA!, Peter Piper Pickles-n-Peppers for apps, Ribs, Brisket sandwhich for entrées, Mac & Cheesy, Loaded Tater Salad, and Corn Fritters for side. Everything was perfectly marinated, seasoned, and cooked. So much is from scratch, and made fresh EVERYDAY. This does caus them to run out from time to time but MAN IS IT WORTH IT!!!! They have everything at a station making it easy to grab anything you need, from the sauces, to utensils, to go boxes, as well as Jones Soda or some tea. The atmosphere is also wonderful as well with great decor and a pretty awesome view of a wooded area with beautiful windows all around dinning area. Both an amazing kitchen staff with Dave in the back (ask him anything you need to know or want to learn about the food he made for you) as well as a wonderful front of house staff with Brianna. 10/10 would recommend and will for sure be back. Thank you for the wonderful service and amazing food.
