Great fish. Great service. Live this place!

2 stars for good service otherwise the fish was over cooked and dry, overpriced, old fashioned was more like a kiddy cocktail with a splash of brandy, and the lower level part of the restaurant wreaked of cleaning product/oil. Really wanted to like it given there are not many neighborhood pubs left.

Wertel's Tap is definitely old school. They do not accept credit cards. The food was well received. The chicken strips were very good. The cheeseburger was also good. The tator tours were spot on! The French fries, in my opinion, were much too thin and add expected were much "harder" than a regul

Great place. Always welcoming and will remember your name. The staff has been there a long time and is very consistent. That tells you a lot. The food and drinks are great tasting and well priced. The atmosphere is A+

Nostalgic bar/restaurant that reminds me of my parents going out to dinner when I was young and another delicious fish fry that you have to check out!
