I can’t hype this place enough. Wonderful food and friendly staff. The best jambalaya I’ve had.... and the best cornbread I’ve ever had. My wife got the catfish po’ boy sandwich and it came with a huge and delicious filet of catfish. Stop by, order out, or have it delivered. I promise it won’t disappoint!
Absolutely best meal I have ever had! Chicken was so crispy and flavorful, the Cornbread was PERFECT! And don’t even get me started on the Mac n cheese, at one point I told my fiancé to get his away from me or I was eatin that too! And everyone was super friendly!!!!! Highly recommend!
Moving from Milwaukee to Green Bay the only negative was the lack of soul food, was turned on to this awesome place by a friend. Hot, fresh, great food and great people. Had lunch today and the food was excellent. The catfish po'boy and crawfish with rice were both seasoned well and had great flavor. Service was great and very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back, dont miss out on this great place!

Wonderfully authentic Southern food- ribs, fried chicken, etoufee, po' boys, okra, greens, black eyed peas and cornbread, to name a few, prepared as though it came straight from my Mamaw's kitchen. Absolutely delicious!

This place serves"Slap yo Momma" good southern cookin'! If you are from the South and miss the food, or a "damn Yankee" who wants to find out what all the fuss is about, try this place. It's awesome! Real country cuisine in a real homey southern atmosphere. They even know how to cook a catfish! If you're looking for fancy, though, this place ain't for you. Lol

Went in recently for lunch and this place is fantastic. As a gal who lived for years in Alabama, I love southern food but know it's hard to do right. This place is friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

Great southern home made food! This place is awesome! We had shrimp etouffee, catfish, collard greens, black eyed peas, Mac & cheese, and corn bread. Delicious! We will be back....Great service also!
Such a wonderful experience. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Made my daughter and I feel right at home. The catfish was excellent, perfectly seasoned. A side of fried okra ,cabbage and topped off with cornbread. Amazing combination. Highly recommend. Looking forward to the next visit.
What a hidden gem! An awesome little family restaurant on the east side. Delicious homemade southern food and friendly staff! Some of the juiciest fried chicken I’ve ever had. The breading was amazing!! I also loved the fried cabbage, Mac & Cheese, and corn bread!! I had their corn bread at the farmers market and knew I needed more. Gumbo was fantastic. Loved the Catfish Po'boy as well. The hand cut fries were fantastic and they had the correct Louisiana Hot Sauce to put on them as well. Cant wait to go back again to try the red beans and rice.
Courteous staff friendly atmosphere food was excellent just like Grandma used to make perfect portions I recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of the South thank u homemade southern cuisine! We added pictures of our half-eaten plates next next time we will take pictures before we devour maybe.

Literally the BEST fried okra I’ve ever had. Service was great, staff was friendly, the restaurant was very clean. My boyfriend and I split the fried chicken entree and it was SO MUCH FOOD. Amazing chicken, and we got a square of corn bread that was also phenomenal. I wish we didn’t live so far away from this place. Highly recommend.
Fantastic place! One of Green Bay's best kept secrets. (Which deserves more recognition) Service is fast and friendly, with a homey family style setting. They're set up for live music as well and have a bar for those looking for that kinda thing. Food is reasonably priced for the big portions with unbeatable flavor. Look no further if you're hungry and looking for good comfort food.

The food is really delicious! I had the rib tips with Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes. For the price I received generous portions and everything was really good! I drive by this place almost every day on my way to work and I’m so glad I finally stopped in. Everyone was friendly and I like the atmosphere too! I will definitely be back!!
Took my family there for dinner on a Friday night. We ordered three entrees and shared them between all of us (kids are 8 and 10), and it was the perfect amount.
All of the food was excellent, catfish, ribs, and fried chicken along with two sides per entree. We also had sweet tea and lemonade that you could tell was all homemade.
The server was excellent and the owners, who were extremely pleasant and personable, both chatted with us to make sure we were pleased and we were.
The atmosphere is nothing special but food and service more than made up for it. We are definitely going back soon but I think for lunch, which offers quite a few different options.
Walked in and was not sure if they were open. Very casual place but all parties involved were very nice to our group. This restaurant appears to be a club at times and a restaurant as well. All food items are homemade and all were very good. I had rib tips, collard greens, and red beans and rice. I enjoyed all of the selections. I was told by my friend that the catfish was super good as well. One of the owners came out and spoke to us and I really appreciated the discussion. He recommended the farmers market and we hit that up the next day.
The place is owned and operated by the nicest woman I have encountered in a long time. She cooks all of the food from scratch, which includes tasty sides like black eyed peas and mac and cheese. The hand cut fries were our favorite! We split an order and brought one back to the hotel. That's how good they were!
