I wanted to try this place of quite a while, finally took my son, who had eaten there a year or two ago. I had the Patty melt and substituted onion rings (at added cost) instead of the included fries. I also ordered a bowl of grandma's chili and a butterscotch malt. I loved everything, the chili was mild but full of flavor ( it could have been a few degrees warmer when served) but that is my personal preference. The butterscotch malt was creamy and full of butterscotch flavor. The onion rings were slightly undercooked, my personal preference, I hate over fried onion rings the onions lose all their natural sweetness. The Patti melt was juicy , onions carmelized to a turn, burger juicy and the marble rye was oerfect.. My son had a cup of Chicken Noodle soup, he thought it ticked all his boxes the carrots still had some texture, chicken was firm and tasty, his only negative comment was the elbow mac noodles were very firm but not the texture of undercooked pasta. He had a mushroom and Swiss burger, his personal favorite, he definitely can't wait to go back. My comment has to do with seating. My wife has very limited mobility and I am fairly large (overweight). A booth seating is awkward for both of us and high stools are not something my wife can use. I can wait to return, maybe for a Friday fish fry

Custard meets marble mix-ins! Very cute retro decor and delicious custard options! We are already planning our next visit!

I have been going to Ferch's since I was in middle school. My friends and I would gather change from around the house and put it all together just so we could go to Ferch's on Friday's and get a couple scoops of custard to share 🙂 I have never had anything bad here. Everything from burgers to wraps, onion rings and custard - it's all great! I will say I do miss the old owners though... They have mad slight changes since. I'm not a fan of employees picking up after me because then I feel the need to tip. I much rather tip out of kindness than feeling pressured. That being said, I dont think I will ever stop going here. My boyfriend from the small town of Hubertus LOVES it and we'll probably bring our kids in the future!

Great burger and I'm biased since I helped pick out the flavor of the month and she gave us a free hot fudge sundae. Fun place

This is a nostalgic place in a quaint spot with wonderful outdoor seating across a stream/bridge from a park. The food is good, especially cheeseburgers. Very kid-friendly, in fact my daughter's favorite spot for the last 8 years. We like the sweet potato fries, and love the many options for cold stone custard. They mix flavorings right in and you get up to 2 toppings included. A bit pricey for standard '50s American fare, but because of the location and ambiance, we go often.
