I will lead in saying I am a bit of a bakery freak. No matter where I am, I have to stop by a local bakery and see what makes it unique and of course try some food.
Their donuts are HUGE and well worth the price, which is extremely fair. I don't think I can ever eat at Dunkin Donuts again after this! Fortunately I run so I can afford to have a donut every so often! I think my favorite is the maple bacon (pictured bottom right in box). But the creme filled (pictured in my hand) is so big I skipped lunch! The raspberry is a favorite of my mother's. I like the lemon but I wish it was a lemon creme and not a lemon filled.
Next up are the cakes. The butter cream frosting is very rich and sugary but not to the point that you feel ill. It draws the line at no less than perfect in my book! Their cake decorators are top notch and can make almost anything you desire! Plus there is no fondant so it is truely edible artwork!!
Apple fritter! If that’s all my review said, it’d be enough reason to stop here. Seriously, try the apple fritter. If you visit on blueberry doughnut day, those are the second best thing here. Honestly, you can’t go wrong here. Everything is amazing! Love this place (probably too much! Ha ha).
Peggy Ann's has some of the most wonderful cakes, pies, and especially, Donuts - of which I bought a bunch for our Christmas brunch tomorrow!
Local bakery that makes the best homemade deserts. Hands down best in Greeneville for donuts, cinnamon buns, and most anything thing you can think of. Can be busy at times but waits usually aren't bad. Do custom cakes also.
My wife and daughter had a very nice time in there almost had to drag them out because they said the employees was pleasant and helpful with everything. I'll definitely be going back
Absolutely delicious treats. I loved their Butterfinger chess bars - they were melt-in-your-mouth tasty.
I went to pick up my wife's birthday cake. I had to get out of there quickly. All of those goodies were killing me. That place is still wonderful. 🙂👍🏿
