Our latest visit, the third in as many months, was just as good as the first two; in fact, I'd say it was slightly better. Our server, Kelli, was supremely warm, gracious, and efficient, making us feel right at home. The food was again topnotch. My wife had the Bolognese which had an amazing amount of shaved Parmigiana Reggiano and burrata. The basil pesto was a nice touch, if bordering on overpowering the dish. I opted for the duck burger cooked medium rare which had a fig compote, red pepper hummus, and cumin seed havarti. It was juicy, perfectly cooked, and nicely contrasted with the arugula that takes the place of lettuce. The meat could have used a touch more salt, and the fig needed a contrast of mustard seed or something more acidic than the havarti. Still, it was a rousing success. GVG has an excellent wine list, offering two Sauvignon Blancs from Marlborough--most places, you're lucky to find one. They also have a Ripasso by the glass which is extremely rare to find. We left feeling welcome, satisfied, and eager to come back. Due to the retro 30s styling, consistently superb food, and a well-trained staff--again, a tip of the hat to Kelli--I highly recommend this restaurant tucked into the O. Henry Hotel.
My favorite place for lunch and dinner in Greensboro. The atmosphere is terrific as is the food and service. The menu is broad enough to allow for casual meals or celebrations. There is a large and comfortable outdoor seating area plus three different "rooms" for dining. The burger is my "go to" meal there.
After shopping two days at Furniture Land South we were definitely in need of a good margarita and dinner. Our design/consultant at FLS recommended GVR so we thoyywe would give it a try. Since we were casually dressed we asked to be seated in the bar area which turned out to be one of best dining experiences we’ve had in many Years. The margarita’s weren’t good, they were GREAT and our entrees were fantastic!!! The level of service by our server Blair was exceptional and the attention from other staff members during dinner was outstanding. Being from West Virginia I have had the pleasure of attending many functions at the Greenbrier Resort over the years, the level of service, quality of food and attention by the staff of GVG would give them a run for their money. Definitely plan to visit the GVG the next time we’re in the Greensboro area.

We really enjoy going to the bar and getting a great dirty martini for my wife and a Black and Tan for me. Full menu is available and the bar keepers take especially good care of you if you want to eat. There is always something good and seasonable on the menu, whether it is a small plate or a full plate. Overall, try Green Valley Grill and you won’t be disappointed!
The food & atmosphere are excellent. We had the smoked salmon pizzette, the green onion & asparagus frittata and we shared the rustic French Toast. Everything was flavorful & tastier than expected! I love the ambiance and even the landscaping. It’s a great place to go for any special occasion but given the reasonable prices go anytime!
First time there, went yesterday for Sunday brunch with 12 friends...good food and great atmosphere and wait staff. Definitely would go back!
We went for our nine year anniversary. The food was delicious, the server was kind, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Green Valley Grill is EXCELLENT! I love love love this place. We have eaten here for anniversaries, New Year's, parties, and just for a date. The atmosphere is upscale and exactly what Greensboro needs. They have a great dinner selection of meats. In the fall they have a vegetarian dish that I get, it's a cauliflower steak, it is amazing.

Wonderful brunch selections, if nice weather the patio is cool and very peaceful. The service is always top notch.
Food was exceptional and the service was polished. Salmon was outstanding and the brunch menu had a lot of items available.
Great attentive service. Trout is my favorite. But the eggplant looked delicious and reports from Mom were that it was. Waiter brought Moms ice cream with a candle for her birthday. Thank You Village Tavern.
Excellent food, fantastic atmoshpere and superb service. My go to place in Greensboro for Sunday brunch and celebratory dinners.
My husband and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at Green Valley Grill. The atmosphere was great, the service was very fast and courteous and our food was amazing! Thank you 😊
