There's a thing going around FB about fake olive oil. Always wondered why mine solidified and Giacomo's didn't...and that their salads and mozzarella tasted better than mine. Bought oil there and it is fantastic. My food really pops with flavor. The homemade meat and cheese put me back in Italy. The small store has everything you need... from the deli to the wine selection. You can't go wrong.

With no doubt, one of the best places to eat in Greensboro. The food is beyond excellent and the staff is even better. Nick is one of the nicest guys I have ever met!!!

Fantastic food!! My (now) husband actually proposed to me here a few years ago. My husband talked to the owner about how my grandma was Italian and had passed away about a year prior to the proposal. He thought that would be a great place to propose in honor of my grandma. They stayed open late one Friday night so that he could propose and it was absolutely amazing!! I had no idea! The staff went above and beyond for us and I'm so grateful!! Would highly recommend!!

I've never had anything from Giacomo's that wasn't great. Their salamis are fantastic and so are the takeout entrees. Try the hot dogs for a summer treat!

In town for the weekend and my friend's explained this place had the best sandwiches. They did not lead me astray! I tried the Hamover Paradise and it was excellent! This isn't a fast food chain sandwich thrown together just to get you out the door. This is nothing but quality ingredients. And the staff? The definition of helpful and courteous. I was excited to see the fresh pasta and sauces they have available too. I was immediately jealous! I now need to look for a genuine Italian market in Charleston. Every time I come back to Greensboro, I'll be making a stop in here for a sandwich!

Having grown up in NY with an extended Italian family I can attest that Giacomo's Italian Market is the real deal! Fantastic food and a cozy "deli" setting that just can't be beat.

I am from an Italian family in Brooklyn NY and this is the only place in the Triad I can find to buy Italian products. There deli products are fabulous also.

I drive all the way up there for their pasta sauce and meat balls. It's only about two hours one way.

What a surprise! In Greensboro for one night and on the way down here jokingly suggested to my wife that we find a little Italian market and grab some salami and cheese and have a picnic. In Greensboro- LOL, right? Wrong! Just happened to pass Giacomo's and doubled back to check it out. Young guy at counter only too happy to sample 4 kinds of salami and 5 kinds of cheese. Laid them out - nice presentation. Really took his time. Everything was amazing!

Always a great experience here! You walk in the door and it's like going home. Fresh eats and great people. We grabbed lunch today along with fresh cannoli and homemade cavatelli for dinner tonight. Taking that last bite from our sandwiches was bittersweet because we didn't want it to end! Beyond good. Thank you for the wonderful eats and the time and attention you take with each and every customer. We love the crew at Giacomo's!

The best Italian market this side of the Mediterranean. Go here for anything from a great sandwich to pasta to choice cuts of meat. Seriously the best.

NYC in NC. Who can ask for more. My new favorite place. Amazing in every aspect. Great customer service followed by great food, with a some crafted meats to take home. No where have I seen someone be able to tell me they make their corned beef. The one mistake I made, taking this long to try it.
