The food was the best food I have had from a restaurant in a very long time...I was in the mood to try something different and I am definitely happy that I wanted a change because it was for the best! I ordered the Pernil platter. It is slow roasted pork shoulder with rice and beans which were also Excellent and cooked to perfection. The pork was literally falling off the bone and had a taste I have been craving since; so Needless to say I will be a regular customer. Also, the prices are a bargain for food this Authenic and delicious. Our server was friendly, professional, and had perfect timing and manners.

Food was amazing!!!! As always :) When I start eating the flavorful food it makes me so happy I start dancing along with the music. I highly recommend this restaurant - 5 stars every time!!
We all go out to eat for the food so that’s where I’ll start. It is amazing and everyone from the food disposal system like myself to the finicky eaters like my family will celebrate. But there is so much more! The people are great souls who give so much to the community. They aren’t just a restaurant, they are a good neighbor. Somehow it is still very affordable. It is the best hidden gem in Greenville.

Being from up north I am used to having puerto rican food every weekend. There are not any authentic Puerto Rican restaurants here in NC. I am not speaking about latino, cape verde, cuban or dominican etc.... But this is the closest to it and I try to get by villa verde at least once a week. I love it and the owners and staff portray the true epitome of customer service. I would recommend them to anyone. They are working on my alcapurrias, potato balls etc..
This is the place where foodies and non-foodies can eat together happily! I met some friends for dinner tonight and tried the mofongo. It was absolutely delectable. I don’t eat a lot of meat so I got the vegetable one. Some of my friends are less adventurous eaters... they got chicken, wraps and fries and said it was delicious. We all split a fried cheesecake, I recommend that too! The atmosphere was great... casual, local, friendly and upbeat.
We had the seafood Asopao on a cold night recently and we were instantly transformed. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious, hot food and plenty of leftovers. Villa Verde is a gem.

Food is always amazing! The wait staff is some of the best in town. It’s like going to a friends house for dinner. Thank you Jay & family for always being so welcoming
Family dinner tonight & great time was had by all! Made to order food takes a bit longer to reach the table than some might expect, but our drinks stayed full & our food came out hot & absolutely delicious! Great experience overall & can’t wait to return!! Great local beer selection, outstanding meal, family friendly atmosphere!
Excellent overall experience. Enjoyed the food and service was great. A must visit place for all who live in the Greenville Area. We will be back!!

This place is amazing! The food is delicious with fresh flavors. The staff was friendly and a nice atmosphere for this place to be an old Pizza Hut back in the day! My husband and I will be going back!
I love this place. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and did I mention the food?
We went this morning for the Veterans Brunch... my kids devoured their pancakes and most of my eggs, and we loved the mangu... we will be back!
The food is to DIE FOR!!...I use to live in Greenville, NC. I would leave home early enough to go to Villa Verde to pick up lunch for work. My go to place when I visit.
It’s always been one of my favorite Latin places to eat.
It’s Dominican, Hispanic flavored. The dishes are perfect in every way. First taste of food comes through the eyes and by the looks of it everyone who comes here will start heavily salivating before they even get the first bite.
Service is excellent as well and the owner is a friendly person, community oriented.
If you got the chance don’t miss the opportunity to stop and eat here.
Dominican at it’s best. The staff I must say were excellent. As soon as we hit the door we felt right at home. I was unsure of what I wanted and the staff quickly made suggestions which turned out to be on point. Oh and by the way the mojito’s were the special for the day. They were refreshing. If in the area check them out.
Went with a group of five people. Each of us selected a different dish and every person cleaned their plates. Pricey but we will be going back.
Great food and very friendly staff. Never had Dominican food before and it was really good. Flank steak was really good and the tacos were really good as well.
Delicious food! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. Highly recommend the Chivo(goat) personally! It was very tender and flavorful! Ate it on top the of the rice. I did not eat it with the hot sauce but it was very flavorful without. Service was very attentive! Great Dominican menu options.
2nd visit .. the staff is friendly, mojito, empanadas, and chicken strips.. all great.. definitely will be back on the next work trip.
This place is small and quaint, perfect for a nice dinner! I have family that’s from the area so this is one of their favorite spots. I ordered the salmon and it was extremely salty so I sent it back but the rest of my family loved their food. And the presentation was excellent! I did try the grouper bites and they were amazing, fresh and crispy!
