For the last 4 years or so, Steak & Shake has struck me as a business chain of increasingly declining quality, and this particular location only serves to prove my point with flying colors. I generally try to give food service workers the benefit of the doubt, especially during the so-called lunch rush, but there were only a few cars in the parking lot when I arrived at a quarter after noon, and I sat at the order speaker for over 5 minutes in silence after announcing myself until someone took my order, and then sat at the drive-thru window for an additional 20 minutes until my order was complete and handed to me.
The apathy of the employees here was absolutely palpable. I asked for some ketchup after receiving my bag, and the employee wordlessly walked away, I assumed to get my ketchup, then returned almost 4 minutes later when he saw I was still sitting at the window. I asked for ketchups again, along with my receipt, so I could fill out the customer satisfaction survey. I imagine most people would have asked to speak to a manager, but I am both a patient and hungry customer, so I'd prefer to share my thoughts on an open forum. The one positive thing I can say is that the Steakburgers and shakes remain good, at least, but otherwise, avoid this location if you are impatient for "fast food."

Frisco Melt was good as usual but they were out of chili. The drive through employee was very nice.

The restaurant was not clean. We had small black specks in our table and it was pretty scarce with walk ins. They couldn't seem to get anything together due to the new way of placing an order. The worst of it all was the HORRIBLE STENCH coming from the bathroom. The only way to describe it was it smelling like an outhouse. I took pictures because I had my 6 year old with me and we had to use the bathroom. The toilet seats where horrific. I couldn't tell you how unprofessional it was on their behalf to display uncleanliness.

my husband and I were hesitant to go in because no one else was in the parking lot, but we were not disappointed! we walked in and put our order in on the kiosk and sat and waited for them to call our number. the restaurant was clean and in good repair. we did have to wait a little bit for our food, but everything was hot and fresh! it definitely isn’t the same atmosphere as pre- pandemic but I would definitely go there again!

The restaurant was clean, I really enjoyed that. The wait was absolutely horrible, I waited for 45 minutes for a hotdog and a garlic burger. Both orders were cold, and the burger completely dried out. I proceeded to ask for a refund and the manager said she didn’t have access. She then proceeded to tell me she couldn’t give me her name because she didn’t want me to lie to corporate about her. Which I had no intentions on calling corporate but just wanted to be able to communicate with the manager who had access. The management was horrible, she had no pep in her step. I understand it’s Steak ‘n Shake, but have some pride if you are going to be representing the company! I tipped 5 dollars to a place who now has you grab your dine-in order from the front.

The ginger girl in the window is super friendly and handed me a good amount of sauce and napkins. Best customer service I’ve had in a while.

Always great I asked for plain with just onion and still had ketchup on it which I don’t mind.
