Everything was delicious! Great portion sizes and the prices were fair. I love how everything you need is right on the table and take out boxes were available around the seating areas. SO GOOD!
Place is absolutely amazing - my wife and I visited from NYC and came back for seconds before we flew out of town.
The staff is friendly and the frog legs were the best we’ve ever had. The Pho was some of the best we’ve ever had in America, if not the best.
Def worth the visit!!!!!!
[Edit] I came back to review the Bun Bo Hue which was the best I’ve had in America hands down and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!
This place was incredible! My favorite pho place in the city and that says a lot, because there's a lot of great places for Pho. Our server was so much fun ! He was so sweet, funny and made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back!
Not your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Ingredients seem more fresh and obviously home made. Great egg rolls, pho and more. They also have some unique appetizers.
Update: came back for a subsequent visit and waited and waited for them to take my order.. very frustrating. Attempts to get their attention were ignored. Place wasn't that busy. We were going to walk out but finally got someone's attention and still felt like we were bothering them.
Frog legs were nicely cook, still moist. The spicy lemongrass flavor works. Korean galbi flavor and salmon needs more justice.
A trans-formative experience. If you're in New Orleans you may not think of Vietnamese food - but you should and Tan Dinh is the perfect example of why. With a huge menu, cheap prices, and DELICIOUS food you will be so happy you made a trip here.
Pretty great Vietnamese restaurant a short drive away from the French quarter. Staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions when I had difficulty choosing a menu item. Food came out decently quick and was all very tasty and well made. Only problem with the food was that it was a little on the dryer side. The portions were humongous though, one order could probably feed two people.
I love Tan Dinh. Everything from the Gỏi cuốn to the Bubble Tea, it’s all soo delicious. My favorite is the rice place with the baby chicken, served with Nước Chấm sauce and fresh vegetables.
