This is probably my favorite small business on the planet!! The ice cream sundaes are great, the cupcakes are beyond awesome, and the staff is wonderful! I've never had a bad experience here. My kids and I love it!

Everything about the Chocolate Bar Cafe makes me happy. The staff is SUPER friendly, and the ice cream and cupcakes are incredible. Order a Highlander. This is a Boston Cooler made with pistachio ice cream, and it's amazing.
Awesome little place that we stumbled upon by accident. The cupcakes were amazing and the have real Italian espresso! We will definitely be back.

Lisa made our wedding cake for at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. We chose carrot and chocolate fudge and both were so delicious and flavorful with great texture. We had two different types of filling (chocolate fudge, cream cheese for the carrot) then buttercream on the outsides. She finished the cake exactly how I had shown her in an inspiration photo I brought. I was looking for something simple and elegant. The tasting was stress free and fun, and Lisa was so gracious with us during the entire process.
The shop is so fun to visit. We can't wait back to get some more cake! We did end up eating most our wedding cake topper (which she delivered a box for us to use) on the wedding night, but we did save some of it in the freezer - it wont last long.
Would recommend without reservation!
We love the Chocolate Bar Cafe! They have delicious sweet treats and ice cream. Everyone that works there is so helpful and always smiling. My daughter recently won a birthday party at her school auction and the girls had a great time! The cake was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Thanks for their generosity to our community

We hired Chocolate Bar Cafe to do our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! The presentation was beautiful, and the whole process was easy and seamless. Lisa goes above and beyond for her customers and it really shows! You can taste the love and care in all her desserts. Thank you a thousand times over for the wonderful cake and cupcakes, it was the “icing on top” that made our wedding day perfect!

This ice cream parlor is very colorful. The employees are nice and helpful, they clean the parlor well. Just for the heads up, many times I have been there it was very cold. The ice cream is affortable and of course family- friendly. They don't just sell ice cream. They also sell cupcakes and chocolate. When you walk inside it has a little vintage look to it. I honestly recommend your next visit to be at tbis ice cream parlor.
