This popped up on the Find me Gluten free app while out of state traveling. I called to verify gluten free options and they verified as well as told me they had a separate fryer for the fries. We were greeted by friendly staff. Our waitress was very knowledgeable regarding the safe options for me. I have CELIAC. Upon her recommendation I had the Bacon burger with Bacon Jam, Truffle fries and coleslaw*.
*The coleslaw was "different" So, those used to sweet creamy slaw, it's NOT that. Those used to tangy slaw..it's NOT THAT. It is very strong and probably an acquired taste. Not for me personally but don't knock it till you try it. I'm rather curious how exactly it is made.
The truffle fries were amazing.
My husband had the Hawaiian Jerk Chicken and salad.
Let me tell you...the SIZE of my burger with a gluten free bun was INSANE. The pictures don't do it justice. It was cooked to perfection with just a touch of pink, absolutely juicy and the flavors popped! I had to cut and eat it with a fork. No way I could eat like a sandwich. The presentation was beautiful. The flavors melded perfectly. I could only finish HALF OF my burger.
I saw other reviews complaining about the price...I cannot understand why. The food is REAL. The portions are huge. The taste, texture and flavor was amazing. If you go out and expect to really enjoy your food, to savor and be mindful of each flavor and how they compliment each other and are presented...come here. If you want a cheap, nothing burger go to a fast food joint. This is the real deal and I will support local good restaurants any day over franchise fast food/frozen junk.
Started with onion rings as an appetizer, crispy, nice clean bite and good flavor. I had a peanut butter cup milkshake and my wife had a mint milkshake, smooth and a nice compliment to our meal. I got the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, which is a chicken burger, jerk seasoning with ham and pineapple. My favorite from Black Out burger.
The milkshakes are delicious. I love the option to build your own burger with a veggie burger. Service was good. I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my friend.
Must get the onion rings the best in a lifetime. The batter is on point,the onions are cooked just right. Burgers are fire and at a great price
The food here was amazing! We had really great a service, and it was directly across the street from our hotel perfect location.
One of the best Bison Burgers I have ever had it was cooked exactly the way i asked for it most places will not cook medium rare closer to the rare side I like to taste the burger not leather lol
chicken burger sandwich was on point as well truffle fries were excellent as well overall a real good dining experience it was our first time there the staff were friendly and prompt with service
Mom thought her BBQ was only okay. I enjoyed my Espresso martini. It wasn't too boozy or too sweet. I had the chicken BBQ burger and it was absolutely excellent. It was thoroughly cooked yet still juicy. The shoestring fries were crispy without being hard or overcooked. If this place wasn't a two-hour drive away, I'd go back often. They have an interesting offering of martinis on their cocktail menu.
