Food was amazing. The service was okay but you could tell our server had other things he’d rather be doing. Boyfriend had fish and fried oysters and they were awesome. I had a grilled shrimp salad that was absolutely amazing. The chargrilled oysters are to die for. They are a must have. It’s a little expensive but worth it to eat here. 5/5 will recommend.

Wow!! Just wow! I do not give out 5 Stars often, so when I do, know it's well deserved. Perfect atmosphere, perfect waitress,, perfect wait time for food, perfect temperature of food, and most importantly, perfect food. I had the grilled shrimp with sautéed mushrooms and onions with sweet potato fries. Friends had po bpy special (she loved it), another had the fried oyster and he really enjoyed that, and the other had raw and chagrined oysters. All perfect! Bathrooms clean, restaurant clean, just can't wait toncome back. The oyster soup was amazing Prices were right on

Great view when on the veranda- yes, it is a veranda. Cameron was a great waiter. Just stopped for a drink and an appetizer. Hubs loved the raw oysters but the crab cake really fell flat. A good crab cake is 90%+ crab. Not so here, mostly filler with random small morsels of crab. We will give them another try for a real dinner - one entree sounded very intriguing.

This was our first time here and we were impressed!! Service (thank you, Jessica) was phenomenal, raw oysters were amazing, as was the pre-mixed cocktail sauce. Grilled, marinated shrimp Po-boys and fried shrimp plate with coleslaw were also VERY good! Jessica picked up on small details and her timing for refills was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back!

We were on vacation so we ended up going on Father's Day. We ended up waiting about 35 minutes. It did take a while to get our drinks and our food. But the waitress was very nice. We got the captain's Platter that is supposed to serve two. It was $45.99. I think if one of you has a small appetite it would feed two. On the bottom of the dishes four pieces of bread topped with a bunch of french fries you get two pieces of fish. We substituted the crab cake for the soft shell crab. It's basically all filler and not enough seafood. Because it's so much bread, french fries, onion rings, hush puppies, and then crawfish hush puppies. It's just not a lot of actual seafood. I would probably go with the individual platter next time it looks like you get more actual seafood. At least with the fish platter it looks like that.

I came here upon recommendation from a local while at a different restaurant. They highly recommend trying the char grilled oysters- they are really great. The raw gulf oysters are giant and delicious, the cocktail sauce is out of this world. I was warned that the wait times are 1-2 hours, I went around 5pm on a Tuesday with a party of 9 and was sat immediately. The place was filing up by the time we were heading out, I would suggest going early to beat the crowd.

Boo fries. Meat pies. Fried fish. Soft shell crab. Shrimp. Grilled fish. Had it all, & not a single thing disappointed in the slightest. We went late afternoon during a shift change & it was the perfect time before the big dinner crowds started pouring in. All the food came out HOT & delicious. The guys shucking oysters in the front bar area were super friendly & my 12 year old loved chatting with them & asking questions. There is a kids menu at the restaurant (which I didn’t see online so I thought pass on here!) & off the back patio there is a big sand pit with toys where the kids can run & play & get some energy out. Really loved Acme!
