We just stumbled upon this place by chance and was so glad we did. The decor was beautiful and we were so amazed at how clean the place was and especially the bathrooms. Our service was prompt and our waitress Johana was quite a delight to talk to. Our food was delicious. We had the chicken fajitas and fajita burrito. The salsa was good as well as the cheese dip. I wasn't so crazy about the chips as they tasted like they had been poured out of a bag. I don't usually like guacamole but their's was actually very good. I had a Sangria Margarita which was delicious. I did think the Margaritas were a bit pricey but it was a good drink. I couldn't have handled more than one. I would definitely come back if we are ever that way again. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in quite awhile.
Aztecs in Gulfport is a wonderful restraunt! The service is top notch and everytime I have taken a visit I have never been disappointed!! Great food and a fun enjoyable environment!! Most definitely going to recommend this to anyone I know.

This is my new favorite place! The food was awesome, the drinks were strong, the staff wasn't bothersome, but they kept an eye out, the bathrooms and tables were clean, and did I mention the food was awesome?
My husband had the Mexican dinner, I had the grilled chicken chimichanga (which was amazing!). They even had yummy chicken fingers for my picky kids. We also had two margaritas, the strawberry mojito margarita and the frozen margarita. They were strong but not too strong. Everything was awesome.

The Carne Asada was amazing last night! Steak was so tasty and tender, seasoning was on point. Also loved the live music on the patio just wish he would of played later than 9.

Had a wonderful experience. First I was surprised with the very large booths not to mention the comfortable atmosphere awesome service and the food was great and seasoned perfectly. I do have to say it was not my typical Mexican restaurant this one was definitely full of flavor. I am definitely coming back.
I always love the food! The music.on Friday night's is usually good also. The service is not always the greatest, but it is usually pretty busy when go on Friday nights.

From the moment you sit down, the staff makes sure you have fresh chips and friendly service. The best fajitas on the coast hands down, and the rest of their food is great too. I have never had a bad meal in the many times I have been to this restaurant. Their margaritas are amazing too. A nice upgrade from the usual Mexican restaurant experience. Best Mexican restaurant on the coast!

Love the mole de poblano and strawberry mojito! Very friendly and fast service! Music can be a little loud at times but by far the best Mexican on the coast! I will be making daily trips now:P
The best Tacos Al Pastor on the Gulf Coast! In fact, the best I have had since Santa Maria, California a few years back. The other items were fresh and excellent. Churro's were way above average too. Excellent service and ambiance. We have finally found our Mexican go to restaurant after bouncing around various others for years.
I was so amazed the first time I came I had to try again to see if everything was good the second time and all I can say is OMG!!!! THE FOOD IS GREAT! This place is a true Authentic Mexican Food! Top notch taste! We were just blown away and found a new place that beats all the rest and will never eat at any of the other Mexican Restaurants in the local area! Service was great... We had Polo Ranchero and talk about juicy not dry chicken a must get if you like chicken! I personally had Tacos de Carne Asada... Absolutely amazing! You also get to pick the size of you Margarita! Small, Medium, or Large.... Medium is huge.... A must go!
This place was very good I can't say it's authentic Mexican food but it's better then Tex-mex food. It's very clean and nice decor this is a must go to restaurant. If you don't go you will miss out!!!!

Tops for Mexican in Gautier. I eat here several time a month and Aztecas never disappoints. Their service is always attentive and friendly. You will be greeted with chips and salsa moments after you are seated, and the taste and food quality are unmatched in Gautier. I have had bariatric surgery and sometime my orders are a little quirky. As unusual as my orders are sometimes they always get everything delivered as ordered. Only once since I've been going did I get a cheese dip that was slightly scorched. I brought it to the server's attention and she promptly corrected it and thanked me for letting her know. They are excellent for large groups, have outdoor seating and right now during the world cup have a huge projection screen in the outdoor seating area to watch the matches. Best recommendation to Aztecas.

I had mole poblano and it was heavenly! I've never had mole before and wanted to finally try it. The Man had the burrito loco and he smashed it. I can't wait til the weather is warmer because the courtyard looks nice. This place is different than most other Mexican restaurants on the coast and er will definitely be back!
Aztounding service!. Stopped by for lunch on a Friday. Even tho the place was surrounded by cars, it was not crowded inside. The decor is pleasant and the dining area open and airy. Service was very good. I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga with beans. The shredded beef had a mild, but tasty seasoning. The chimichanga was cooked perfectly for me - crispy, but not crunchy and about right size for lunch. They were very generous with the cheese sauce, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, lettuce and guacamole. The guacamole was ok, but not particularly distinguished. The beans with a dab of cheese were also very generous, but not distinguished. So this was a satisfactory lunch that was highlighted by excellent service.
This is a proven owner with several other venues. This inside is very nice servers are very attentive. Food is over the top. Business savy owner has positioned his self at the top of the hill in Gautier. How can you go wrong when Jesus is your server?
We had excellent service here and the food was incredible!! The patio is dog friendly so we were super excited. They even brought water for the dogs.

A beautiful Mexican restaurant with great food and environment! The homey feeling of the place was comforting. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and some were bilingual speakers, and a bar is on site as well. Great place to go with family or friends and to take pictures in.
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Victoria’s Bowl is one of the healthiest options for eating in town. The chips and salsa are also great. I really enjoy eating at Aztecas.

Aztecas Gulfport has become one of my fav places to eat! The best Steak Nachos & if I’m not devouring those I’m ordering a Chicken Victoria’s bowl which no where else on the coast can match. The spouse & I eat here more Tuesdays than not & they’ve yet to disappoint. The blond hostess upfront is always so welcoming & organized (seating us quickly!). The staff is also right up there with her. It’s a pretty homey feel which I love. Thank y’all for making a soul touching meal every visit! My husband and I don't go out much because he works a lot due to the airforce. So we don't want to be disappointed, especially since we aren't familiar with the area. But, aztecas didn't disappoint. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is ok ( the live singing on Saturday was cool ). It was a bit loud but you can definitely tell that this place is loved by many people. Plus, the non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri and the Victoria bowl are pretty good.
My husband got the san Miguel sampler and a margarita, which he really liked. He said the margarita tasted like strawberry lemonade.
Always an awesome to eat. Love that customer service there.
First time eating here and it was fantastic! I wish the salsa was a little more mild. I ordered Victoria's Bowl and it was so good omg. Fresh and had a lot of flavor. He had the mushroom fajitas and he loved them. My only complaint was our waitress. She went missing and we barely saw her. Highly recommend tho.
