I used to go to JJ bakery frequently as a kid and I would always get the pineapple bun and egg tarts. This time it is no different.

I'm a big fan of JJ Bakery. They have lots of locations, but you know you'll find lots of choices of nice airy flaky barely-sweet breads along with a few sweeter denser options as well. The fruit-covered cakes look amazing, but we've never tried those out. This Hacienda Heights location is relatively small compared to their others, but they manage to pack a lot of tasty choices in, no problem. The staff was constantly bringing fresh pastries out and were friendly and got me checked out and out the door as soon as I was able to make up my mind on just how many delicious treats I was going to be taking with me.

A Taiwanese style bakery ! Fresh bread everyday. ! The cakes got lots of favorites , specially mangos cakes !

Delicious Pastry! I recommend the Taiwanese Pineapple Pastry. Very Yummy!
