My closest friends and I gather here once a month for sushi girls night. We love everything about this restaurant. Service, food, experience. Always amazing.
I came in at a great time on Friday, it wasn't busy yet. I was quickly given a seat and given my menu. I already knew what I wanted to try, so I was quick with my order. Chawan Mushi, a steamed savory egg custard, and Sukui Tofu. It wasn't until afterwords I realized both foods were soft and creamy,
Place is so cozy, relaxing and has atmosphere of Japan. The best part is there is free parking lot on Saturday and Sundays at the back of the restaurant. Food and service were great! Beautiful blooming tree right outside the restaurant!
Food is excellent. Sushi was fresh and the rolls were delicious. Main courses do not come with soup or salad, everything is a la carte, the pork ginger and the salmon teriyaki were both very tasty. Not the best value compared to other similar restaurants.
The only problem was that we arrived at 7:
Dirty/sticky menus and table. Shiso and plum roll had way too much shiso, ew, they should know how to balance their roll better. Rest of the food was just ehh. Unfortunately, on top of all that, our waitress was lost, confused, and slow. They need to step it up.
We always love coming here, space is clean, food is phenomenal, and staff is always the sweetest and attentive! We've dined in and have chosen for takeout, and both options are great!
We enjoyed our meals. All 3 lunches were delicious, expertly prepared and fresh! Soft shell crabs were well worth the expense. Highly recommend!
