Best Chinese food in Amherst downtown. The authentic Pork Shredded in Beijing Sauce are not found in any other Chinese restaurant! Mapo Tofu is another dish I highly recommend. The spiciness of the Szechuan food here is just as it should be.
Besides, the service is now very satisfactory, the waiters are friendly and attentive to customers' needs.
Extremely large menu where items carry no description of what's contained. Delicious beverages and decent quick vegetarian tofu and vegetable meals. Excellent service and patience with a group coming in 45 minutes before closing.
Very good! Food came out as it was prepared! Enjoyed the Crab Rangoon and boneless ribs!
The food was GREAT. I’d rather they take credit cards and offer a meal instead of having to get rice separately from the entree, but the food was so good it made up for it. Parking was tricky for take out, but not impossible.

I don’t know why all these local guides are leaving bad reviews, but after the manager changed for Panda East, the service is now at a way higher level, not to mention the food is amazing, the fish they use is so fresh for example, def recommend!

I was brought out to lunch here several days ago with two good friends of mine around noon. A very nice and big spacious restaurant and honestly very excellent and speedy service with pretty good food.
There was no wait in line.
I had not ever had a scorpion bowl before and I'd like to maybe know some more about what those are.
My two friends that I was with were a bit confused when we got our check back, we did not know if gratuity and / or tip had already been added on or not for the total.
Please let me know so I can let them know there is not any confusion.
Then as we left we had a nice walk back home.

Great traditional menu. Ordered from lunch menu.
Came in tonight with spouse and ordered the sweet potato cakes, twice cooked pork with leek, and an eggplant dish. They were out of eggplant but gave us green beans instead. Everything was so delicious and it was a lot of food! The person who waited on us was also very nice. We will have to come back to try the eggplant! There were so many items on the menu that we want to try.
Wanted to write a positive review cause they were absolutely slammed tonight (Christmas) and there was a mix-up with telephone numbers vs. online order numbers, and as a result there were a few very irate customers waiting for their foods and picking fights with the staff, and often the issue was that the customer had given them the incorrect phone number as a reference.
The man and two women working the front were working their butts off, and were efficient and courteous with all the customers, doing their best to sort everything out. I’ve been getting the food here since I was a kid, and love this place so much. Just wanted to post, since I’m concerned they might get some flack from the displeased customers.
