Definitely the best in the area!
The sliced tomato and basil pizza ( w/ red sauce) is by far the best I have had anywhere!
The pizza is good but not a really friendly place. Don't dine in, in the Summer. Hot as hell in there.
If you want some rock hard garlic knots and so so pizza stop by. Empty parking lot during lunch hours should have been enough of a warning.

Excellent New Haven style pizza made by one of the nicest families in Hamden.
Was not very pleasant at all the wings very dry Not cook correctly and no flavor. Celery was not fresh blue cheese was watery .Very disappointed ..Not a place I would go back to.
