Stopped in yesterday and ordered two rice bowls. The layout is similar to a Chipotle. You pick your protein, toppings and sauce. Food was fresh and the portions were generous. This is my new go to spot for lunch or dinner. The food is so much healthier than some of the options on Dixwell.
This is my favorite place to go to. On my break I would come here for lunch and order a noodle bowl. The customer service is great, Carlos is super friendly. Food is always great! 10/10 recommend. Korean street ramen is delicious. Thank you.
The place is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They also invite you to sample different sauces before putting them in your bowl. I would overall recommend this place for anyone who’s craving a hearty, semi-healthy meal. My only complaint is all the sauces were a little too sweet for my tast
Been going to Zzaam since they opened, huge fan! It’s usually pretty empty when I go for rice bowls, not sure why, because it’s cheaper, quicker, and way healthier than all the fast food in the Hamden plaza and beyond.

One of my favorite restaurants in Hamden! I love the spicy chicken and ginger sauce. I typically go for either a rice bowl or burrito, and both are fantastic. The food is delicious, light but filling, and a good price. The staff are super friendly as well!
Great tasting affordable food. I usually get a rice bowl and they use nice fresh tomatoes. Would recommend if you're feeling like a rice dish with something spicy.
