Yesterday, we had to take Talula to the vet - some how she strained her neck (no whiplash collar because they don't have them for dogs). She is on muscle relaxers and stuff, no worries she is doing fine. The REAL story is where we stopped before going to see Dr. Nikki Graham (our fav!). The Donut Time Cafe. how have I not been informed of this wonderful little slice of heaven - shame on you all!! The Donut Time Cafe is located in the same strip as Kenji Fusion, across from Texas Roadhouse. All the donuts are made fresh and look amazing. I picked up a few to sample with my honey. First we tried the maple bacon because everyone knows my love affair with bacon. Let me say first the "cake" part of the donut is all the same for the donuts, great thickness and texture, perfect chew and goo factors. Fried to perfection. It is the icing that adds the flavor and the maple bacon was a bit of a let down for us. The maple was really sweet and the bacon was a tad flavorless. We both agree if she went with a dark maple syrup to make the frosting, added bacon to the donut itself as well as more to the top and maybe a smokier bacon it would have been perfect. The chocolate chili spice was definitely yummy. Lou and both agreed through, instead of a dried chili slice on top to decorate, a candied chili slice would have been more palatable. The icing itself was a nice lush chocolatey with a hint of heat from the chili powder. A definite two thumbs up in our book! The salted caramel was another yummy one, nice large crystals of salt topping a silky caramel topping. Our fav by far was the Boston Cream, the pastry cream filling had the perfect hint of vanilla topped with chocolate, oh there will be dreams of this! So skip DD when you need to fill a donut craving and head on over to Donut Time Cafe, don't forget to grab a hot cup of their coffee - definitely a plus!

I have only been here a few times, and I am so impressed!!! I was really worried (because of past experiences!!) that the donuts looked too good to be true and that even though they looked gorgeous they wouldn't taste as good as they looked. Well I was wrong! (And I'm glad I was!) the owner is sweet and caring, the donuts are always fresh and the balance of flavors is always on point, and the whole restaurant is always clean. I can't wait to try more off of the menu, if you haven't been you're missing out on Hamilton's best kept secret!

I got the giant Turkey donut in vanilla and it was delicious! My family ate the entire thing within minutes! Great service, reasonable prices, and awesome donuts!

i don't know which one is my favorite the Reeses or the Cheesecake! the donuts are sooo fresh & delicious. can't believe i didn't know about this place sooner.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about these donuts. The cake part is so so so delicious! And the flavors are amazing and nothing like you get anywhere else!

I had never been to this place and I kept driving by and decided to stop by and try it out. The guy was super attentive and helpful, also the donuts were so delicious. Everyone was excited when I brought them home. I will definitely be returning. I’ve already decided on getting one of their donut cakes for my birthday coming up. This is a must try place!!!

This place is awesome. I was waiting for my good and heard 3 separate customers tell the owner how much they love his place. One said it's a Thanksgiving tradition to come here (today is turkey day and yes, they're open till noon). Donuts sandwiches and with healthy and very sinful options. Love it.

This is the best kept gem in Hamilton! They do the best classic breakfast sandwiches, in my opinion better than the local bagel shops and the donuts are to die for. I love that it’s locally owned and operated, the staff are always so pleasant. Definitely one to add to your breakfast list!

Wasn't familiar with the area but got lucky and discovered this place after a bit of googling. They made me had one of the best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches I've eaten in recent memory. Wish I lived closer because I'd eat here all the time. The coffee and donuts were terrific as well! I highly recommend this place! ☕🍩✨
