We and another couple went out to celebrate a birthday. It was our first time to Blodgett Canyon Cellars. The service is top notch. The food was very tasty and presentation is awesome. Now the wine.
Every variety tried we enjoyed both White and Red. You won't be disappointed if you go into this establishment.
We spent a great evening enjoying the rooftop seating area (inside downstairs is very nice also, with tables and couches). The service was excellent, even though only one young lady was working all by herself. She held her own and kept everyone happy and glasses full. We had the antipasto plate which was delicious. Our only disappointment is that it closes at 8, which is the case in most of Hamilton.
First time, won't be our last! Ask for a flight of 4 wines. Generous pours for each that will really give you a feel for how good the wines really are. The cheese and meat platter can't be beat.
We always enjoy Blodgett Canyon, their wines are great and the Sangria is always on point. It offers a nice quiet atmosphere and the upper patio is nice in the warmer months. Don’t overlook their appetizers. You will love the staff as well, they are always very friendly. It is one of our favorite stops after work when we can make the time.
Awesome atmosphere! The drinks were tasty. Elise was amazing, so personable!!! I encourage anyone to try this place!
The wine here is great (at least compared to other offerings in the Bitterroot Valley), but what really makes Blodgett special is the staff, service, and general environment created in the tasting room. Everyone is friendly, the cheese boards are excellent, and if you haven't been to the rooftop to enjoy a glass of sangria while the sun is setting you need to!
Blodgett Canyon Cellars is a very classy, yet relaxed atmosphere type of establishment. The staff is very accommodating, fun, and welcoming. All of the wine I've had here has been very good, they have a variety of whites, reds, and their own blends. I highly recommend this wine bar, and the staff as a great place to go in Hamilton as a visitor or local.
We visited Blodgett Canyon Cellars and have decided it may be our favorite place to enjoy a glass of wine, Sangria or any beverage for that matter. We were greeted by maybe the most hospitable person we've met since arriving in town. She made several recommendations, told us about the area, including some local festivals. We got the red sangria (yummy) and went to the roof top deck where we were truly welcomed by a beautiful 360 degree view of the Bitterroot Valley.
Hamilton continues to amaze us with its beautiful landscape, delightful charm and the Blodgett Canyon Cellars is just one more addition to that story of this lovely small Montana town.
