The chocolates were phenomenal. I love that the owners wife grows the chocolate beans themselves in the island. The owner is friendly and has some stories to tell you which we’re almost as good as the chocolates! Thanks for the stories and treats!
I went to this shop twice in two days. The first day, we got the 10 piece sampler which had 2 of the following: passion fruit dome, coffee drop, coconut truffle, passion fruit caramel, and Hanalei PB&J. The best chocolate I have ever eaten. If you are a coffee lover, make sure to get the Coffee Drop. Chocolate is Hawaii grown. Nice, little local shop.
The chocolate is made with locally sourced ingredients and there are so many options. Great for bringing as a gift - Jack greeted us there and his friendliness and stories really brightened our day and made us feel welcome.

The most delicious truffles and the kindest shop manager! My visit to Chocolat Hanalei was a treat in more ways than one and absolutely made my afternoon!
If you’re in Hanalei you have to visit this store and sample their divine chocolate. Not only it’s locally grown but it’s chocolate done right. The banter with Jack was a great part of the experience as well. And, if you need a free book for your trip, they have a free library.
