The Famous is always a great place to eat. The food is great as well as the service. It hasn’t lasted this long for no reason as a local hot spot. They have more than hot dogs as well. Burgers and chicken are great too. They are not shy when giving fries, chili and onions.
The hot dogs were great! They were flavorful, delicious, and the French fries were awesome. I recommend anyone in the D.C. area to visit and eat here! Great food, great staff and great environment!

Can't come home for a visit and not stop for a special with everything! Last visit we did not have time to sit and dine. Got my special to go. Took all of 2 minutes to to complete my order. I walked out the door with happy thoughts following through my mind waiting for the moment to devour the goods in my little sack. Yummy for the tummy!
I went to the Dart drive location yesterday morning with my nephew. The food was hot when it came out. The waitress was very nice and came back several times asking if we needed anything.

Consistently wonderful. I have enjoyed this restaurant since I was a child and you always know what you are going to get, a delicious, cost efficient meal. I cannot visit Hanover, PA without getting a hot dog, it's a non-negotiable.
I love Famous Hot Weiner in Hanover PA. OMG I love the chili cheese burgers and the chili fries!!!! to die for!!! they are always fast at service and always courteous!

Well the famous hot wiener has always been a favorite of mine and most of my family. The memories go back to the corner of Broadway and York Street and they continue. I live in Westminster but every time we get the Hanover to visit family I try to make sure that the famous hot wiener is included and often times it together and play for a brother and sisters for us to meet in getting together and reminisce so it's on the list
Great hometown feel in this place. Friendly staff, good food and plenty of it! Whew, need a wheelbarrow to get me out of here! The Hot Wiener Special with one of each and everything on it shown in the pic. Good luck!

Excellent hidden gem for tasty hot dogs with super friendly and fast staff. The French fries are plentiful but lack seasoning and flavor — easily remedied by asking for chili or cheese topping; or adding malt vinegar.
