So glad this place exists. I live in York, and only get to come here when I visit my mom in law in Hanover, otherwise Iโ€™d be here at least once a week. As a Mexican raised in Las Vegas (but a California native) where there are wonderful taquerias on virtually every corner, I can say with authority that the food here delivers in flavor and authenticity. The tortas are particularly tremendous. The tacos are perfect, and the rice and beans are fine. Itโ€™s real nice to be treated to tortilla chips and homemade salsas when you sit, too. I went in once over Christmas and they had wonderful tamales for $1.50 each. AMAZING. They have horchata, and a vast selection of Mexican sodas in glass bottles in their refrigerators. And thatโ€™s just the restaurant. The attached market has tons of Mexican grocery items that you just canโ€™t get anywhere else!

Cute shop with wicked good Mexican food! Eat in to try the Molcajete, takeout doesn't do that dish justice. Takeout is amazing though for everything else.

Yes, Yes and more Yes. Loud music, hot chips, tons of beverages and dang good food. Try the Molcajete! Best hidden jem in Hanover. This isn't a chain so waiting should be considered normal, most of the bad reviews are all entitlement, who measures the sauce in teaspoons? Go write in your journal, this place is good, I've been coming for years. There was some change with new ownership but the food is great regardless of others thinking we don't know good Spanish food in Hanover.... hah as if some of us have never left the state, narrow minds!

I was going to call this place a hidden gem in Hanover, but it is obvious by all the reviews that I am late to the party. I discovered this restaurant/market a few months back after they popped up on DoorDash and they have become a regular in my household. They have online ordering, delivery is available, but it is simple to pickup yourself. Just make an immediate left after you enter and go to the market counter and ask for your order. I'm yet to find a menu item I haven't liked. Also, the market carries all kinds of hard to find goodies like the far superior "Mexican" Coke (made with cane sugar; not corn syrup), which pairs perfect with whatever you order.

This is one of those small restaurants with real home cooking. My wife had the chicken fajita and I had carnitas platter. Both were very good with enough to take home for warm ups. We highly recommend this place for taste, value, and friendly atmosphere. Or take home. And Mexican groceries.
