A very very cool old house with an awesome restaurant inside. The food is pretty delicious, maybe a little pricey, but it's worth it for the very cool atmosphere. Seems to be the staple of Harmony, PA so if you're in town definitely eat here! And then check out all the very cool shops and cute downtown area afterwards. Can't recommend enough.
Fantastic food, atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommend the burgers and the beef on weck, giant pretzel, and fried pickles. Great beer selection, in such a cool building with indoor, outdoor, bar atmosphere, and family friendly atmospheres. Versatile! Haven’t been for any events, just stopped by after a Christmas tree trip, but also looks like a fun events calendar. Highly recommend.
I visited The Harmony Inn 5 or 6 years ago for lunch and was very impressed with the food and the setting in this beautiful historic home\Inn. I’ve been wanting to visit for dinner with my wife but we are a little over an hour away. We finally pulled the trigger and drove to Harmony for dinner at the Inn. My wife was impressed with the building as soon as we drove up and parked.
We sat at the beautiful copper topped bar and had a before dinner beverage. The service was fast and friendly. When it was time to be setted for our reservation, they were going to take us upstairs but I asked if we could have the first floor near the X-mas tree. They were so nice and accommodated my request. A+. We had Brezeln (pretzel) as an app with beer cheese and Black Bear mustard, they were wonderful. For dinner my wife chose the Brussels and Bacon Spaetzle and I had the Chef Brett’s Schnitzel, we both totally enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent and the food was delicious but seeing the house\Inn that was built in the mid 1800’s is worth the visit even if we wouldn’t have eaten. (but definitely eat) Our only regret is we didn’t save room for dessert. Oh well that will give us another reason to visit again. This restaurant is a must try.
We've been here before. I had the chef's schnitzel it was very good. Not a combination I would've put together, but very good. We were well taken care of, and had a big group. We love the old charm of this place. I would highly recommend to anyone willing to listen.
A good dinner. I had the "Girl from North country" burger which has bacon, cheese, onion straws and BBQ sauce. Very good.
- To drink I had the bucksnrot stout. Rich and dark.
My spouse had the fish and chips entree which looked and tasted good.
My offspring, they had the Nashville chicken sandwich was a spicy breaded chicken and cheese. Not super spicy but still good.
Love this place. Dog friendly. Our waitress brought my fat dog water, with ice. Huge outdoor space. The outside was spacious and comfortable with lots of shade from the hot day. Lots of great German food and the upstairs is supposedly haunted..... They have live music on the weekends and I believe on Monday nights. The patio has a huge fireplace and patio heaters to prolong the season and dine comfortably. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area.
We were there with a large group of 19 people. I believe everybody there enjoyed their dinners. My husband had the Cod dinner with french fries and red cabbage. He said his dinner was delicious except he doesn’t eat cabbage, so I ate that for him. I liked the red cabbage. A friend of ours had the cheeseburger made with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. It came with french fries, but he had requested potato pancakes which he got later. He liked everything about his dinner once he got the potato pancakes. I had the tomahawk pork chop dinner, which was delicious. The tomahawk pork chop was very tender and cooked perfectly. I finished up my meal with the cheesecake, which my husband and I shared, it was delicious.
Great dining experience. I happened upon this place when passing through the area and looking for something for dinner off of the interstate. It is not far from the interstate but not really downtown either. It is a unique dining experience - in a very good way. Plenty of outdoor dining space (heated) as well as good space indoors with history. The prime rib was some of the best I've had anywhere. I was very pleased all around with the food, service, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend giving it a try!
Great experience every time. It's a nice place to have a quiet lunch and catch up. Service is good and the food is always quality. They also have a patio area for warm weather. The beer selection is wide with a little bit of something for everyone. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy.
Incredible food and service was great as well. Ordered the Jagerschnitzel with homemade egg noodles and red cabbage. Can’t wait to get back!
