Our bartender Pedro was great. We were just stopping through Harrisburg for the night and el sol was down the street. The best Margaritas you will ever have. Ordered a quesadilla and 2 sets of tacos and it was awesome! Next time in any town ask the locals where they eat and drink. You won't be disappointed .

I was in town visiting my aunt and she said we had to go to El Sol because the food was fantastic!! You did not disappoint. The mango margarita was the best I’ve ever had - I could tast the fresh mango and there was the perfect amount of tequila. The guacamole with goat cheese was amazing!!! Can’t say enough good things!!
Had a great meal of Parrillada de Carne. It was a combo for two with soft tortillas. I have eaten at Mexican restaurants in at least 25 states and this was one of the best. Go for happy hour and get the pitcher of Dos Equis!
Amazing margaritas, fantastic tacos, and excellent service!! My only regret was not getting 3 fish tacos instead of the mixed platter (all of which were super yummy).
We were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was delicious and very flavorful! The restaurant itself is elegant, yet we were in casual dress when we were there and were treated like VIPs! We are from Texas where we have some of the best Mexican food in the world, and yet we would give this restaurant two very big thumbs up! 😍👍🏼👍🏼
The first thing I noticed was the ambience of the restaurant. I felt like I walked into a cantina in Mexico. The staff were very friendly and personable. And the food was amazing!! Good sized portions. And I highly recommend the portobello and avocado salad with shrimp. ��
I can't believe I had never been here before today. We had an excellent experience at El Sol. Chips & salsa plus Guac and shrimp ceviche were all excellent for starters. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their entrees, and portions were generous. Halibut fish tacos were excellent. A few of us miraculously still had room for dessert and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! I like quac ok, my husband doesnt yet he loved the guac! The fajitas were so juicy, Im always asking restaurants to make it juicy and it's usually not but these are so juicy from what they put on top! Salsa and chips were good and my husband loved the birria tacos with consomme dipping sauce
Came here around 5 on a weekday and by 6 the place was full. First time here but there was a number of things on the menu that I'd love to come back to try. Tried a steak fajita burrito which was excellent along with a paloma. Can't wait to come back to try the margaritas and enchiladas.

Food here is fantastic. The place gets five stars for the food alone. Service is a little bit indifferent. But what can you do. The sangria is a little watered down. But their margaritas are very good.
The food was both fresh and fabulous. The portions were very generous and the staff was both friendly and accommodating. A staff member even recognized my son's Cosmo jersey and acknowledged his favorite team. We suggest reserving a table as we did. We highly recommend this restaurant.
If you are HUNGRY for great Mexican and Latin-inspired food, you have found your spot. El Sol is a great place for lunch, dinner, or for a first date. The staff are very friendly and the food - anything on the menu - will leave you feeling full and happy. When the weather is warm, you can enjoy outside seating. If you are new to Harrisburg, visiting for a day or two, or just looking for a change of pace - El Sol is your destination for getting the best food and best service for your money. Stop by - you'll be so glad that you did. Best advice - come hungry!

The pricing is excellent and the food is exceptional.
They have a very impressive TEQUILA menu with the whole gambit of styles, quality and pricing.
The atmosphere is pleasant and I will look forward to future visits very soon.

Food was excellent, some of the best I've had actually. The service was lacking (we didn't get chips and salsa at all, drinks only came when food arrived, no water at all). They were busy but other tables had better service. Please do better in the future, as I said the food was great!
