Crawdaddy’s has the best Louisiana cuisine menu you can find anywhere. Their food is definitely awesome! The service you received is fast and sincere we had Matthew as our waiter today and he is the bomb!
Be sure to visit Crawdaddys for any celebration and even just for a good meal.
P.S.
Love the Keylime pie, it’s awesome!
Came in for an early lunch on a Saturday, got the catfish with the red potatoes and mac n cheese. Everything was excellent, especially the catfish. Certainly the best I've ever had. Our server, Jason, was highly attentive and took great care of us.
The ambience was stellar too, with lovely smooth jazz and attractive decorations. Very clean, great food, great service. An A+ establishment.
Our server provided great service for our party of 14. Food was outstanding ranging from fried catfish, gumbo, salad entrees, green beans, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, yams, pound cake, and peach cobbler.
We've eaten there numerous times, the food is always very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I’m about atmosphere... it was great. The staff was friendly. The food was good. The decor was nice. We got invited back. When I’m in Harrisburg again that’s I will definitely stop by CrawDaddy’s for a meal and a meal to go. .
I'm not usually one to leave Facebook reviews, however... I had such an awesome experience at Crawdaddy's I feel obligated to do so! The food is delicious, and reasonably portioned. Our server Jason was very personable, friendly, and did a great job on giving us recommendations- we loved everything about this place and I can't wait to go back!
Amazing restaurant! The only restaurant I've ever been to that I never had to pick up salt or pepper for a little extra seasoning. Everything was just perfect
Had brunch on the veranda Sunday, June 24 - absolutely a delight. Food was great, service was super. Accommodated a last-minute party of 12 with efficiency and graciousness. Highly recommended.
This is a great little place in a professional building in Harrisburg. We stopped in on a Saturday and enjoyed the shrimp and grit cake with hollandaise and asparagus. My friend had Crabcake Benedict. Bother we’re excellent. The corn bread is awesome. Really friendly staff. Ask to see Lisa the manager. Check it out.
Stopped here on a Friday evening with my husband. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful! I highly recommend this place for southern Cajun food!!!
Great soul food restaurant in the Harrisburg area. Since they moved to their new location, I would say they deliver on all levels, nice decor, great food, along with a diverse crowd.
Sunday brunch with my favorite cousin, she ordered catfish, grits, egg over easy, and bacon. I ordered sweet potato pancakes eggs over easy and bacon. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food came very fast and was hot. The atmosphere in the establishment was very comforting and happening. The menu is southern comfort and tonita her is attitude warming and she is a great help very knowledge on the items they have..! Definitely 10/10
Tried this place on a whim celebrating our ten year anniversary. We were so impressed with the quality of food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow and not very familiar with the menu, but everyone is hiring new help these days so we weren't bothered. Dirty Martini was very good and the crab cake was among the best I've ever had.
Found this place looking for a new place to eat. While I question the quality for its location being on 6th street. I was a bit hesitant. Then getting there and seeing poor parking. I was going to keep driving. But the online menu tempted southern catfish.. just the thought that some inner city northern restaurant would even hint at southern food was not only a joke, but a insult to southern food.. I had to see. While walking in. I felt a mild white guy walking into a deep south southern Baptist church. But the staff. Was in a word. Amazing. I was seated and chatted with like I was family. I ordered the catfish breakfast. And folks, those who follow my food blog, know I am a catfish junkie. And this place.. lord, I swear, made me feel ashamed for questioning the food. Upon tasting the fish, I felt like I was back home down south. It was seasoned perfect, the fish light and flaky. The soft jazz was at a perfect tone. I can not express enough how this place is in the wrong part of town not to mention the wrong state.
While talking to my wonderful waitress Kammi. Found out it was family owned. I didn't meet her grandfather who started this restaurant. But I love the old guy. The corn bread.. it's real corn bread. Soft, moist, sweet. Folks up north don't have no clue of good corn bread.. this would give my own grandparents a good run.. so good, so good.
As I said, this place is not without faults. Noticed a leak bucket in the ceiling, but the place was southern clean... don't know what that means.. go there. Sit, look at your table, the floor, the staff. Higher class places in the city should be ashamed.
But sadly While the food was almost perfect. They did show they're northern side.. the grits.
If you had honest grits..and love them. This was the only downside.. They're instant.. if not instant, definitely microwaved. No butter on them either. I know, that be enough to call it a day and leave. But it's the north, I was grateful they made the attempt.
But they made it up fully with the bacon. The bacon is thick cut. Thick. Like a good southern girls thighs and just as yummy.
They also have a capt. Crutch French toast. And it will bring you closer to the God of your choice. That good.
So, if in Harrisburg.. skip all the other places, and hit this place up. You will not regret it.
There aren’t many places you can get beignets in Central PA and I can guarantee nowhere else has beignets this good. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside with just the right amount of sweetness. I also had the fried catfish salad which was so great I didn’t even need to put dressing on it. The catfish was crispy, juicy, and flavorful. My waitress Selima was incredibly sweet and the joyous atmosphere of the restaurant felt tangible. I will definitely be coming here again (and again).
We all loved our food. It was delicious. Very well seasoned so the flavor was off the charts. It reminded us of New Orleans. We definitely plan to dine there again. And the service was delightful just rounded off the entire experience. I had the voodoo juice and gumbo with shrimps.
