A friend brought a box of this bakery's cookies to a gathering the other night, January 2022, and all varieties were delicious. They went fast and everyone commented on how good they were. Fresh and flavorful. He said they cost much less than some he bought for a Christmas dinner with us from a neighboring bakery, and we didn't think those were too memorable.
We moved here from NY and had no idea how the bakeries were. I googled and found this place,i sent an email and recieved a prompt response. I ordered our son's birthday cake about 3 months early to avoid the summer rush and the day we walked in to pick up our son's cake we saw it as soon as we entered the store, it just stood out. The details was so beautiful i almost didnt want to cut it.Carla and her team did a phenomenal job with our son's cake and it was just as delicious. We will definitely be going back as we found our bakery. Thank you guys for such an amazing cake.😊
A customer gave us a gift of Modern Pastry’s Italian cookies for the holidays and they were so fresh and delicious! My favorites are the rainbow cookies, but every cookie was so tasty and yummy. Such a wonderful gift idea
Highly recommend Modern Pastry. Great communication. Amazing attention to detail. It was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at. We picked the buttercream frosting, raspberry filling and marble cake. All of our guests loved the wedding cake and asked for the name of the bakery.

Picked up our wedding cake tasting samples today from Modern Pastry! When you walk in you can immediately tell that their products are going to be delicious! Had the wonderful Italian pastry shop vibe as soon as you walk in through the front door! We saw a couple wedding cakes in the cooler that were waiting for their events and they were absolutely stunning! When we got home we tasted the cake, mousses and buttercream frosting. The buttercream frosting was so perfect and had such a wonderful light texture and flavor to it. The mousses we tried next and it was really hard for us to choose just 1 favorite because they were all delicious. We tried the cake last and all 3 kinds were so moist and fluffy. Lastly we paired the mousses and frosting with the different kinds of cakes and decided on our favorite for our wedding. We will be emailing Carla this week to book our wedding cake! We are so happy we found this wonderful pastry shop and are so happy to have such incredibly nice people help make our wedding cake so special! ❤
** My daughters birthday cake this year was BEYOND beautiful. They did every single detail as I specifically wanted. I cannot explain how stunning the presentation of this cake was it literally blew us away. I cannot recommend modern pastry enough!!
The best pastry shop around! This place has never let me down. I have been buying cakes here for the past 4 years. So I mean every and any event I have had. Every cake i've ordered is super fresh and extremely delicious. As for the cake decor I'm going to let The pictures I posted speak for themselves! I have not yet been disappointed and do not think I will be. Carla is amazing and makes sure you love what you get. Thank you modern pastry!
The cake for my wedding tasted so good. It was a white cake with red velvet in the middle layer with buttercream frosting. Most of the cake was gone by end of the night. Best cake ever. Very moist and pretty.
