So went here ordered the side Blue cheese pecan salad and had them add grilled chicken to it. Should have just ordered the normal sized salad. Eight bucks to add the chicken in the picture. Thought it would be cheaper to order a side salad and add chicken, NOPE!!!! Every thing else was fine, server was friendly, silverware was clean. The vinaigrette on the salad was tasty. I paid more for my salad than my buddy who got a burger and fries. Crazy salads cost so much when the food cost is less than four bucks.

The food was good, but the blooming onion had way too much spice on it and my family member who loves them couldn't eat it because it was burning their mouth.
They were slammed at 3:00pm on a Saturday. Our wait was 25 minutes so we sat on the bench in front of the host stand, after 30 minutes I checked my phone and saw I missed their "your table is ready," text by 5 minutes, you'd think since we were literally on the bench in front of them waiting they would have said out loud "**** party of 3." Why can't they call out customers names?
We finished our meal before they came by and remembered we placed the drink order, so we told them not to worry about it because they were clearly slammed.

Trash all over floor and it took someone over an hour to sweep it after numerous employees walked through it and pretended not to notice. Salad tasted like chemicals, wilted lettuce. Steak was fishy. Beer was good. Service was good. I think it's a result of the general decline in quality in the country. I don't think this place would have survived 20 years ago.

I had a prime rib sandwich. Unfortunately, the meat tasted stale you know when you leave a roast in the refrigerator a couple of days longer than you know you should have. It was also warmed over too long.

Memorial Day was my first visit to the Outback Steakhouse in Hattiesburg! After an excellent New York Strip and all the fixins, I asked my Waitress for the check and she advised me that it had been anonymously been paid! I am a Veteran that made it home and feel guilty that so many didn't, yet, my meal was being paid for! Thank you and God Bless the person or persons who made this gesture! Food and Service are second to none at The Outback Steakhouse!

12-12-21: tonight was horribly disappointing. Everything went wrong with this visit. Our food was either burnt or raw, everything came out at once or not at all. I got my soup and salad after my steak, and I had to ask for it.... and no manager in sight. The waiter acted like that was completely normal. This was just ridiculous and completely out of sorts for this outback. Our appetizer was burnt, my wife's steak was burnt. My steak was raw.....just a complete 180 from what we came to expect from this place.
I have to update. We have been going to this Outback for the past couple years and it has consistently provided us with our best meals from most restaurants we've been to. I think that is just amazing. It is very rare to find a restaurant that consistent with great meals over the time span of years.
The service has always been amazing as well. Our drinks and appetizers come quickly with our salads and meals being spaced appropriately after. It is always aggravating to me to have my apps, salads, and main course dumped on my table at once.
Anyway, thats thats the two year update.
Our food was fantastic, our waitress was outstanding! My girlfriend said it was the best steak she's had from an outback. Even though they were busy our waitress still took good care of us and our food came out hot and delicious .

Granted everything in Hattiesburg has went down hill but this place disappointing big time. The menu has shrunk and went up. If I'm going to spend $30+ on a steak it ain't going to be at Outback. Bad service. So we just decided to order a blooming onion and it was greasy as hell. Don't waste your time. Anyone that gives this place a good review just don't know what decent food is.

Small problem with our order today which was basically a misunderstanding. Mistakes happen,, we are all human. But the thing that was most recognizable and impressive to me was how quickly our waitress and Outback management acknowledged that my order was wrong and took care of it in a very timely and courteous manner. To me, customer service is key and Outback and it’s staff exemplified this exercise to a Tee! And although it was a simple and understandable mistake, we were never made to feel like it was our fault. The Waitress and Manager took full responsibility. Not only is Outback a great place to eat where the atmosphere and service are top notch, I’m proud to say that my Hattiesburg restaurant is the very best at observing that. I highly recommend you guys give Outback Steakhouse a try!!!

Just as I was about to open the front door the front host opened it for me and greeted me and sat me down not even a minute inside the restaurant. The server was on point and very professional and courteous. Checked on me not too little times and not too many times during my dinner. Just don’t remember his name to give him recognition. Would go back again when I’m in Hattiesburg next time.

Want the best service? Go here! Was there last night and had no problems. They waitress happened to drop my to go box while loading our bag and my steak was all over the floor. We had to leave because we were catching a movie and didn't make it back before closing so I couldn't have a replacement made that night. Never the less Outback took care of me the next day, making me a complete meal! They went above and beyond there duty to insure everything was right and I can respect that! Will continue to bring my business to this location!

Usually Pretty spot on. We visit there about once a month...Last night however...My recook was microwaved. I could tell by the way the blood congeals on the top of the steak when nuked. I mentioned it to the waiter, and even showed him the foamy blood that was on my steak...( who did not seem too concerned or even offer to send by a manager). MICROWAVED steaks are NOT acceptable for such a high profile establishment. I will take my family somewhere else next time i'm in Hattiesburg.

Went today after JCJC graduation. Our daughter's. 10 in our party and we were there when they opened at 4. Food was mostly ok, service was aweful. Took forever to get our dinks, no plates for our appetizers, had to ask for bread, asked multiple times for refills and our waitress was no where to be found. The other Waite staff attempted, but also failed. The manager came by a few times. One of our meals...a steak salad with sweet potato...arrived after everyone else was done eating. We asked about it at least 4 times! And they messed up our tickets. The manager did nothing and said nothing to make anything better. They didn't charge for the forever late meal. Celebration gone bad. Won't go back!

This is the second time that I have went to Outback and ordered a 9 ounce filet and was handed a different cut of meat. And it was way over cooked and dry. They had forgotten a side for me and a side for my wife and we ran out of drink twice. It was a Saturday night but a 2 hour and 20 minute meal cut into our night out. Outback filet was always a good steak but with the last 2 trips I think I’ll go to Longhorns or Half Shell Oyster House.

It was really good! The past several times the blooming onion was thick sliced and over spiced and hard to pull apart. Last night it was thin sliced and cooked to perfection! It was the best one I have had yet. Rack of Lamb is to die for if you haven't tried it!

The service was great and all the food was really good. The 9 oz. Victoria's fillet was cooked just right but it is not a fillet mignon as advertised. It always has some grisel in it and fillet mignon doesn't have grisel.

My husband and I decided to go out and have lunch so we chose Outback. I decided on a hamburger, I only eat my meat well done, everything is well done! My hamburger was cooked exactly the way I wanted it, I only eat mustard, pickles and onions on it....it was great! My fries were a little cold but still a nice meal.
My husband order fried shrimp, fries and a house salad. He was completely satisfied with his meal.
Our waitress was very nice.
