This place was a huge stop for me on my way from Nashville to New Orleans. I'd been wanting to try this place forever. The food didn't completely disappoint but the staff did. Also there was a lack of an atmosphere. It was quiet and weird.

Food was great and has many different combinations for each type of food. It was very fresh and tasted fresh as well. Was a bit pricey considering the what the food itself was yet being so fresh tasting is well worth the extra dollars. Round 10$ a person I'd say. The only complaint is when you get the chip combo, the amount of chips vastly outweighs the amount of "dip" one gets. The dip may last 1/3 of way through chips then your left with lightly salted tortilla chips which does go to waste.

Best Izzo's location! Clean dining area and food prep area. Friendly staff. Fresh, delicious food! For $7.50, I got a LOADED chicken burrito, chips & queso, and a drink. The burrito made two meals!

It's tasty burrito time when you come to Izzo's. If you are interested in authentic Mexican I would recommend somewhere else though. The staff is always friendly and very short wait times when you are ordering. It's also nice to sit outside when the weather is nice and sunny.

Food was fine but service was pretty bad. Stood at the counter for several minutes before being acknowledged even though several people walked by me. The girl who made my food didn't say hello or sorry for your wait, just "do you know what you want?" Not a great experience and the restaurant didn't seem very busy.

THIS IS THE BEST BURRITO I EVER DONE EATEN. And the staff are very nice and quick with the food. May not be the cheapest burrito in town but definitely the best. 10/10 would eat again.

This build your own burrito style restaurant is similar to bigger names but the food is much better. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, making for a delicious meal.

Best build your own burrito shop ever. They make their own guac so don't even try. Little bit more on the pricey side but quality or quantity for sure.

I got a burrito bowl with chicken. The chicken, rice, & beans were all cold. Not Luke-warm, cold. I don't know what the use to keep those pans of food warm (if anything) but it's not working.

There was mold on my friend's tortilla as she pulled it out of the bag. We had to point it out and she nonchalantly acted like it was no big deal. She had to ASK for a new tortilla. I enjoyed the food prior to this, but I haven't been back since. The idea of having to ask for a new tortilla or eat a moldy one she would have continued to use, ruined Izzo's for me.

A lot of people compare this place to Caliente... I never at at Caliente, though.

Izzo's is great - to me it is so much better than Qdoba. Everything is fresh. They have more variety than other restaurants like this. Everything is clean and ordering for a pick-up is a breeze. Also, they have some pretty great discounts. If you are a student at USM or still have a student ID, you can get a 10% off of your food on Tuesday.

Their margaritas kind of suck, though.

They had old steak. Out of bottled water. Very dirty. Chipotle to the top!!!!!

Not as good as Caliente but not bad.. Izzo's is a bit more a dive than even Caliente was but the food is decent. They switched from pre-made mushrooms to fresh grilled which makes a big difference (but unfortuantely the often salt them too much). The variety of tortillas they offer is welcome (the Cayenne ones are the best).

Wish we had a Moe's!. First I have to say that I was excited when I heard that Izzo's was opening in the old Caliente Grille location. I frequently ate at Qdoba when they opened, but had grown tired of them and was looking forward to having an alternative. After eating there twice I have to say that I'm very disappointed. The food is just ok, but more expensive than Qdoba. I can go to a regular Mexican restaurant and spend less money and get twice the food plus all the chips I care to eat for free. Don't believe I'll be eating there again anytime soon.
Wish someone would open a Moe's in Hattiesburg. In my opinion their food is better than Qdoba or Izzo's and they give you free chips with every meal.

I got a steak burrito bowl and was really disappointed. The steak was cold, the rice was flavorless, and the other ingredients didn't taste very fresh. All in all it was about ten bucks for what I didn't consider to be very high quality food, or even a decent quantity of it. I didn't even get a drink. The staff was friendly, but that's kinda besides the point. If you're in the mood for a burrito, just go to Qdoba down the street. Don't bother with Izzo's.

$10 of US currency for a chicken bowl & drink. I'm just saying.

Wasted $10+ for lunch! Sticky rice, flavorless, and cold steak. Big disappointment!

Wasn't the best I've ever had. Lukewarm. Service was fast and friendly, but I don't think I'll make a trip back anytime soon.
