Great and friendly staff, food is cooked to perfection, friendly inviting atmosphere. Funny cooks . You can't go wrong here, if you like hibachi!! Definitely recommend. Also affordable prices.
I had the sirloin steak and shrimp with fried rice. The service was very good and the cook was funny. We went for lunch (six of us) and it was nearly empty; if you want very little waiting weekday lunch time is the time to go.
Was a good Hibachi experience.
Love coming here when out in LI. The establishment is beyond professional and the culture of Japan is felt from the door to the cooking and even upon leaving.
The prices are a little bit high for the size portion. You get but the atmosphere is nice. They put on a great show weather cooking and the food always tastes really good. I would love. Them to give a full bowl of soup versus a 2/3 full bowl of soup.
Otherwise it's a nice treat
The staff were professional and our Hibachi Chef was very funny, and put on a great show. Between the food and the very entertaining show, this has been one of the best cooked in front of you Hibachi meal experience.
Excellent hibachi. Gorgeous interior lacking terrible blue & purple lights you see too often nowadays in many sushi/hibachi restaurants. Really great experience from people who have been there for decades.
4.5 stars really...
Close to work, our chef was nice, well cooked food. I love the decor both inside and out. If you're looking to get hibachi. You'll have no regrets coming here. I just wasn't blown off my socks. Cheers
They renovated it and looks great! Chefs so kind, funny and professional, the interaction with the little ones at the table and the chef was amazing! Food like always delicious! And I have to say they are honest people, the bill included the tip and I didn't know it so I was giving more tip, they stop me when I was leaving the restaurant to make sure this what I wanted to do. Very thank you. Definitely recommend!
Went here today for my mom's birthday. We've been coming to gasho for well over 15 years now probably. For the first time we opted to get our food without the hibachi chef cooking it infront of us. We got our soup and salad and after a little while we got our food. I ordered the steak and scallops. Steak was tender, veggies were fine, scallops were definitely tasty and hot. Not a huge portion of seafood in my opinion for $26. Steak and veggies were also not that hot. Felt like room temp to me like they were sitting for a bit. Would have definitely hot and nicer to get it cooked infront of us, but my family wasn't in the mood for all of the singing and yelling and other stuff.
Always have a great time when I go here, the service is good and we love the Hibachi. This day I went with one of my close girlfriends
Dinner with the family at Gasho of Japan in Hauppague. Onion soup, salad (not shown), fried rice, melting rice snowman, food on the grill, and hibachi shrimp with vegetables and ginger soy and mustard stopping sauces. Always a delicious and fun experience
Food was delicious. My kids had a lot of fun interacting with the chef. Fun family dinner.
Excellent food and service. No complaints. Best hibachi so far on Long Island.
Celebrated Mother's day with my wife and daughter. Made a quick easy reservation. Had a few drinks with filet mignon. Cooks are entertaining and great customer service
It was a nice night out. Thankfully we just got there before it got extremely busy. The food and show were good to eat and watch. I tried a sakie bomb for the first time ever that was interesting basically tasted like vodka to me. The food was delicious!!! I would definitely go back again but before 6pm i recommend, before it gets insanely busy.
Affordable, fun, and good food. Would definitely go back
