There is no place in Hazleton like the Pines, great attention, nice place and the best of all, the food is the best in all Luzerne County. Simple, the best.
This place is really beautiful. If you're looking for a nice night out without spending an arm and a leg, this is the place to go. They have great food and mixed drinks. I tried the Cinnamon Toast Crunch drink and it was incredible. I think what I like most about this place is that I feel safe there. There's a parking lot at the back entrance and there's security cameras and such. 5 stars ��

What a wonderful time my husband Angelo and I had tonight. Chris and Sabrina were terrific and the food was excellent. The way that we were called up by tables and served by the staff ensured that everyone was able to have anything that they wanted. Many thanks to the Hazleton Cancer Society also for-sponsoring us. The steak sandwich was excellent, also had the vegetable pasta & onion soup & the homemade chips are delish too...a fun place to eat & meet friends...
Great Food and awesome staff! Was a pleasure working with all of you! Would highly recomend them for any function you may have, beautiful atmosphere and did I mention the staff was wonderful? Do yourself a favor and visit them!!

Food was tasty and had exemplary service. The bar tender, Ryan, was especially friendly and went out of his way to make sure my drink was made the way I wanted it. I would visit again
This place has a very nice vibe to it. Definitely enjoy the decor. The fact that they incorporated the vault into the restaurant is amazing. Food was great and reasonably priced. Our waitress was sincere and on top of her game. It was not packed on a Tuesday night and it truly deserves to be.
Fantastic wedding reception location. Eli was truly the best ever to work with. Nothing bad to say. Everything was so positive and delightful. The bartender and wait staff were all polite and respectful. Highly recommend. We will use them in the future for any events we need as well. Do not pass over the brownies and make sure to order them in full. So unbelievably amazing. Thank you Eli and staff for a wonderful evening and going above and beyond
Wow hidden gem. This restaurant is very nice. I like the high vaulted calling and the general decor. The service is fast, and the food is delicious,I mean very delicious! A must visit.
So happy to have found this little gem in downtown Hazelton. Had no clue about it connection to the old Knotty Pine restaurant that we use to love to go visit, and have missed for years.
Our server Eli was the best. He really took great care of my friend and I. And the food was delicious. Definitely would love to go back

The communication with Eli, the manager, was punctual & accommodating. He offered multiple suggestions to guide my thoughts to a beautiful selected menu.
The quality of the prepared meal was appeasing to the palate & delicate to the eye. The display was just beautiful!
We went tonight to celebrate my husband and daughters birthday! Atmosphere is beautiful, an old bank that as a kid I went to with my parents, now is this amazing restaurant! The vault is still here and the original bank ceilings are still intact! Lightning was a little too dim, and the tables are a little too small for a family of 7! Food was good. The charcuterie board, calamari and mozzarella wheels for the table were amazing! The bruschetta was a little soggy, but good flavor! The filet mignon was under seasoned and lacked that nice char that you expect from a filet! I could go on about the sauce on the chicken Parma, but canned sauce is canned sauce! The French onion soup is the best that we have ever had! Our server was good, she was the only server for about 18 people that were in the restaurant on a Wednesday evening! She handled it well!
We will go again, not getting the sauce again, will get the apps anytime!
Best food in the area. We dined in and then had our Thanksgiving dinner catered. Everyone loved the food, and Eli made sure that everything was perfectly prepared and tasty.

One of our favorite places to eat. Great atmosphere and decor in a refurbished old bank building. You should see the paintings, the seasonal decorations, the ceilings, the bar, and the safe!
A few small touches would add to the classy experience:
1 Cloth tablecloths and napkins.
2 A salad fork included with the silverware or brought out with the salad.
3 A current wine and beer list.
Excellent service, atmosphere and holiday decorations. Expansive menu. The lamb gyro with fresh chips was tasty and filling.
Food is always delicious. Service is top and the atmosphere is always comfy and season appropriate.
Five stars for this best of Hazleton restaurant. Set in an old bank building (the vault is behind the bar), this classy spot features some great drinks and food. I'm very happy that this restaurant is downtown. Parking is easy on the street in in the back parking lot. Live music is provided on Friday nights. This is a must visit if your in Hazleton.
This place is amazing! Our waitress Ashley V was phenomenal, very attentive and super sweet. Our order was perfect, highly recommend their calamari and their burgers! Will recommend to anyone looking for a laid back eatery with amazing food. Will be back again!

Im very very picky with my food, my burger was cooked to perfection, it was bleeding when it came out and I was in love. Major props to the chef for making the delicious food.
Well exceeded any and all expectations, the cuisine is exceptional as well as the services. Staff is polite, and the cheft made it s point to visit the guests' dining. Can't get any more personal than that. Highly recommended.
In all transparency, I'm a sales manager for a local radio station. While this establishment is a new client for me, I felt I wanted to try for myself what I'm trying to advertise. I wasn't disappointed. Eli is a great guy. He only met me once, and when I came back in 2 weeks later he remembered my name. That's a good bartender that obviously gets to know his customers. On this visit, after business was done, I stayed for lunch and was NOT disappointed! I got a "Rachel" sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious. The place itself is comfortable in appearance, quiet enough to enjoy the surroundings and the staff are super helpful. If you're looking for a cool place for lunch with great service and great food, the Pine's is your place!
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere absolutely perfect. The servers were unbelievably nice. All around it was perfect.
