We visited Quivira during the #DCVpassport event. It was one of my favorite wineries on our two day tour. The wines were very good and the food pairings delicious. The gardens were beautiful to wander through during our visit. If you go, stay awhile, plan to eat there while tasting. You will not be disappointed.

A real working garden fronts the tasting room at Quivira. It is delightful and full of fruit and vegetables as well a flowers. They let you wander the garden while you are tasting. The outdoor testing area is shaded by old olive trees and is large and comfortable. Chris was a fantastic host and we really enjoyed our tasting. We also got to see the barrel room and indoor tasting room and not only bought wine, but also were gifted herbed cooking salts. Definitely a great place to stop.

Beautiful winery with gorgeous gardens. They allow you to bring your own munchies and stroll the gardens while tasting the wines. Our server, Chris, was a wealth of information and a great story teller. Oh, and the wines were delicious too!!

It’s funny I had no wine pictures which were great! Came for the passport weekend and fell in love with the flowers and redwoods.

Quivira came with a sterling recommendation from a Sonoma local, and I managed to snag a late morning tasting reservation, party of one. My husband wasn't partaking but was readily inspired by the bountiful organic gardens and vineyards with his fancy camera in hand. The Quivira wine tasting was the best I have ever experienced, and mind you there have been many. What a joy sitting on the patio, under a stately, old olive tree with a soft summer breeze and vineyard view. The pouring pace was leisurely and thoughtful thanks to Brenna's knowledge and friendliness. There is an intimacy about Quivira from the ground up - sustainable, thoughtful care of the land, affable staff, and elegant wines.

It is always a pleasure to visit Quivira. The grounds where tasting are held are beautiful and they have an amazing garden that you can take a stroll through. When we are past Covid I highly recommend the Estate Tasting (discontinued during Covid). It's the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view.

Quivira has our favorite Rose' and SavBlanc. Dry but enough fruit to round out both with a marvelous finish. The staff is extremely helpful and a joy to work with. The venue is beautiful with plenty of room to roam while tasting some great wine.

What a beautiful, charming, generous gem of California this is. Sarah and the hospitality team did their absolute best to make sure that our picnic afternoon in the Oak grove was fun and memorable.
The vineyard and surrounding gardens are stunning and make for a great walk and photo opportunities. Each wine of our tasting flight was delicious and we certainly had trouble choosing bottles to take home. Thank you so much for an exceptional experience, I was too busy having fun to take photos but will certainly be back for more!

Heard that the staff at Quivira is super warm/welcoming/friendly. Unfortunately our particular staff member who was helping us out at our tasting was "all business". Not much explanation about the background of the vineyard / the grounds / etc, just kind of in/out with each tasting pour and a quick explanation. There was another staff member who came to take photos of us who was super warm/friendly and guided us a bit on where we should walk around – so I assume it was just the person we got.
The grounds were nice though! We sat with our dogs next to the chicken coop and walked a bit through the garden.

Quivira is a lovely place with beautiful gardens. We were invited to take our glasses of wine and help ourselves to their (delicious) strawberries. Our host was lively, friendly and very knowledgable. We liked the wines and would recommend the tasting experience.

I have been a wine club member for years. I really enjoy walking the vineyards down to the Dry Creek with a glass of wine. The gardens with their produce are great and I enjoy seeing the chickens. Chris is a great host and we can talk about things other than wine. He does not beat me over the head trying to sell me wine, which I appreciate.

Best winery visit of the trip. The gardens are beautiful, the wines unique, fresh and tasty. Boutique place, not putting on airs, just making and pouring good wine. Our hostess, new to Quivira, was wonderful fun!

Beautiful property, incredible garden spaces and well crafted wines. A Dry Creek Valley gem- our host Woody was a great personality and his insight and service were top notch. Looking forward to the next visit!
