This was our first visit to Agave. We were seated immediately. The service was timely and professional. The food was excellent and I've never seen such a short time between ordering and the food being delivered to the table. Our server checked on us frequently without being intrusive.

Muy buena conida. What a great restaurant almost every single thing seemed perfect from the architecture to the food to the service. I ordered a chimichanga burrito with chicken and no beans, and it was absolutely delicious and filling. It was so big I had to take half of it home. The chips with the salsa were excellent. This is a great place to take a family or a date. I am sorry to say this, but I only have one complaint and that was there was a fly bothering me the entire time I was eating. They need to get a fan at the front door to stop these flies from coming in. Except for the fly, everything was perfect I absolutely enjoyed the meal and would definitely refer my friends and family.

Agave has the best Mexican food in Healdsburg (which is saying a lot). Everything on the menu is good, and they will make things for you that aren't on the menu - Fajitas, Combination plates, Chicken Tortilla soup (that's comfort food). Try the Fajita Salad with steak - I could eat it every day for lunch (and sometimes do!). The Nachos are tremendous. Did I mention the Margaritas?!? Yum.

Be advised, this is a restaurante, not a taqueria, and their prices reflect that. Initually, I was a little off put by the price of three tacos, but they earned it, they were excellent. Good ingredients, right level of spice, kind service.
