Went for the Italian “hot” with all their recommended condiments (mayo, mustard and house sauce) as well as LTO, banana peppers and red pepper relish added.
Bread was fresh, soft and warm.
We split one Sammy there and took one for the road.
Chose the Mac ‘n cheese and potato salad as our sides. B
We had the Chef’s special of the day - pulled pork sandwich with chipotle Mayo, cheese, red onion and bacon on brioche. It was excellent! Will definitely return again to try other sandwiches. We did share the sandwich, hence the price range.
I have been here several times. The staff has always been amazing and the quality of food is consistent and always good. I have eaten inside, outside and taken food to go. It is what I consider to be a true deli. They have a deli counter and they have many people taking orders and preparing food
Great selection of sandwiches and sides. All in a quaint little NC mountain village.
My wife got the chicken soup and I got the Rachel (a Reuben but with Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut) with potato salad. Maybe the best sandwich I've ever gotten---both the pastrami and the bread were amazing. Soup was also outstanding.
Love seeing the guys and gals at Mountain Deli. Always fast and friendly service. I usually go for the hot carved roast beef, but today I came in early for a bacon and cream cheese everything bagel (a real NJ staple) and it was spectacular, took me straight back to my favorite bagel shops growing up
Although I have driven and walked past this place several times. It was my first time eating at Mountain Deli, today. I order the chef special and it was a tasty spin on the Cordon Bleu sandwich! The owner/ manager is super friendly! I will be back.
This place is fantastic! Everything I have had here is wonderful, the food is very fresh and the service is great. If you are on Main Street in Hendersonville, you need to stop in for lunch. You will not regret it!

Came here for lunch. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. Everyone who worked there was friendly. Kind of a little pricey, but that's what you get when you're served high quality sandwhiches.
Visiting my sister and we stopped by Mountain Deli and they do not disappoint. A lot to choose from and found out on Thursday’s they do hot carved sandwiches which is what I had today was the hot carved turkey sandwich with a cranberry mayonnaise sauce. This place is worth going downtown
Visiting Hendersonville for the first time and we found this deli! Really fresh and delicious soup and sandwiches. Very good price and friendly staff as well. We tried the cuban and the tomato soups and they were delicious! Come try this delicious deli out!
Wanted something besides a hamburger, had a salad with chicken salad, very good, seven of us ate here and all were happy with the food. The staff were awesome, very nice!!!!!!
Deli Sandwich shop with a local feel. On the main drag in Hendersonville, my wife & I visited during the Apple Festival on Labor day. The place was blown out at 1pm, but service was good. The Cuban sandwich was GREAT!

Consistently amazing. Pack a cooler and get a treat to take home. I highly recommend the Reuben.

Update- 7/2021 Still delicious. Absolutely the best sandwich shop around. We drive from Greenville to eat here.
First time visiting this establishment but was happy that I stopped in for a sandwich. I ordered the Chipotle Steak Sub. They don't skimp on the meat, and it was very delicious!
