This place is so delicious. My family loves Mexican food but I think this is my new favorite place. My two girls who only ever order bean burritos have eaten two steak tacos each. So glad to have this place in Hendersonville.
Additionally, cleanliness is a big deal for me and this place is nicely decorated and clean.
The server was so nice and helpful as well.
Give it a chance... you will be so glad you did.

If you like Taco Bell, this is probably not your taco place. If you prefer handmade tortillas wrapped around authentic taco meats (too many options to list), this is a must try eatery. The Pozole (hominy stew) sometimes served on weekends is to die for.

We love El Trompo Taco Shop. It is on our Friday Family Dinner rotation and is a favorite for all of us. So delicious and the price is reasonable. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
This place was amazing! The owners were great and the fish taco and marinated pork taco were delicious! Be sure to try the roasted pineapple water

Yum! I normally get the burrito del loma, so I can't say as to the others but I've gone enough times they know me by name. and the cheese flan is delish!

If you like authentic Mexican fare and reasonable prices this place is great. We enjoyed enchiladas, tacos, guacamole and chips, and the California burrito. I particularly enjoyed the guacamole and the sauces. I opted for the regular and hot.

Small shop - super size delivery of authentic and delicious Mexican staples. I can’t seem to get passed their al pastor sopes! So, so good. I typically get mine without lettuce and their hot salsa is a must. Also love that they set the table with a placemat just prior to food delivery...as well as their use of logo-ed, blue & white colored plates to serve freshly made dishes on. Don’t get discouraged by the looks of this strip (mall) - this place is worth the trip!
The tacos here were very good and reasonably priced! I got the slow cooked beef, beef ribs, and chicken taco. All of them were delicious, but my favorite was probably the beef ribs. There sauces were also good. They have a mild, medium, and hot. I tried both the medium and the hot and the hot was definitely my favorite. It wasn't overly spicy.
The restaurant is pretty small and has five tables but it wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The horchata was also really good and it was refillable!! I'm definitely going to come back here.
The street tacos were amazing. Service was fast, food was great, prices were fair and the atmosphere is on point. Dont miss out on this place. 3 apps, 2 plates and drinks for only $33 before tip
Wow. Seriously... Just wow! I am completely blown away with how incredible El Trumpo's food is. I heard it was good, but NOTHING could have prepared me for how phenomenal literally everything is here. The al pastor and chorizo are absolutely out of this world. As someone who lived in southern California for a while, I'm pretty picky about my Mexican style food and El Trompo did not disappoint in any way. This is definitely my new go-to for quick and amazing Mexican food. Do yourself a favor and go the next chance you get!

El trompo is a fantastic and delicious restaurant. The food is incredible all across the menu—the street tacos, the Gorditas, the burritos, and their breakfast. They have delicious drinks, lovely people working there as well. It is truly a standout place and one of the only Mexican restaurants I go to around here. I live a bit far away and it’s worth the drive every time. 10/10
I loved everything about this place. From the food quality to the little touches (like their custom plates I’m obsessed with) you can tell that the owner/s care a lot about their business and customers. Best Mexican food I’ve found in Nashville so far. Plus, it was a delightful experience. I’m excited to visit again!

Everything they make, they do very well! I love the steak tacos and the ceviche. Perfect for a quick bite or call ahead. Now that they've added cocktails and margaritas, its one of my favorite places to eat.

We have been twice and both times food was great amd servers were friendly.
Food was really good and the waitress was really nice! Shrimp cocktail has a slight citrus tang that I think everyone should try at least once! So refreshing and good!
Absolutely wonderful tacos! I tried the al pastor, asada, and tongue. All of them were delicious. The tongue was very tender, and not over cooked at all. However my clear favorite was the al pastor, which I had to order another one. The green salsa was my favorite out of the three choices they provide. I also tried the custard flan, and it was probably the best flan I have had in quite some time.
