We were blessed by the Gods that Chick-fil-A had forgotten our order, forcing us to find another spot… and we found “Someone’s in the Kitchen”.
I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT with Jalepenos and my wife ordered pancakes with blue berries.
The BLT was by far the best BLT I’ve EVER had. I’ve worked in country club kitchens for 4 years and this surpasses it all.
The sourdough was buttered perfectly, the fried green tomatoes had excellent texture, and the pimento cheese with jalapeños gave a jolting party with every bite.
My wife’s pancakes were thick, fluffy, and exploding with flavor. The bacon was crisp and juicy as well.
The perfect word to describe this place, as well as its food is “Quality”.

The best breakfast I have had in Hendersonville. Staff is friendly and attentive. They are on it. Don't forget to tip well. They deserve it. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Desserts look amazing. Everyone needs to check this place out. Shopping for gifts, books, sauces, etc.

Had a very pleasant experience at this family owned restaurant and bakery. They knew my order wasn’t quite right and fixed it immediately. Bonus they have an adorable little girl with natural red hair to make the late entertainment mogul Lucille Ball jealous. And did I mention the books?

Stopped by one morning to grab some cinnamon rolls and left with a box full of goodies! The pastries were delicious and I definitely recommend you try it if you are ever in Hendersonville!

This place is FABULOUS! The atmosphere is so extremely inviting. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Now for the menu... oh my goodness... wonderful breakfast and lunch options, with a specials menu that changes CONSTANTLY. If you see something on that one you like? ORDER IT. You won't regret it. As if their food wasn't a good enough reason to come... you have to pass the dessert displays coming and going. You're gonna fall in love.
I will definitely be back, and I HIGHLY recommend going.

Good home-cooking style breakfast food at Someone's In The Kitchen. Y'all go if you're in the area! 😊🍴#FoodiesOfNashville

Feel super lucky we found this hidden gem. Gonna be dreaming about the brisket biscuit for a long time. Beyond friendly staff too.

A quick lunch at this local restaurant, the grilled pimento, bacon panini and the fried green tomato, avo and bacon hot wrap - both delicious. We've also had breakfast and all dishes for our party of 5 were great. One note, our waitress while extremely polite actually yells when she answers any question, even "....where is the restroom please.." - just seems at odds with a nice and comfy spot with great food.

Service still friendly although a bit slow. Love the addition of shelves of reasonably priced used books.
Service was friendly and efficient.
Brunch joins were a nice twist. The Chefs burger with BBQ sauce, bacon, and mac-n-cheeses is very unusual.
Desserts, in particular, the German chocolate cookie were delightful.

We had a great meal here, excellent staff, nice ambience, reasonable prices, ample portions. Go after 11am when the bar opens!
We'll definately be back!!

If your hungry for REAL home food this is it! A diff ant menu each day and it is always scrumptious no matter what. Good variety and a fabulous selection of homemade desserts! I highly recommend. You would think the waitress owns the place because she is so friendly and service oriented. Enjoy!

Loved it and the owner came out and chatted us up...a great treat along with the sweet treats we went home with. Banana pudding and a brownie!

Tried the 'make your own burger' option. I may have gone a little bit overboard but it was worth it. Burger was delicious. Definitely would recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Delicious food, really great staff. I am genuinely sad to see this place go. My girlfriend and I just found out about this place and would love to see it stick around. So if you’re thinking about getting brunch somewhere please give this spot a try!

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast on Saturday with our 2 young children. First off, the food and service were exceptional. We ordered a variety of different breakfast items. The thing I enjoyed most was their used book store. The kids sat nicely, as nice as a toddler will, and looked through the books (which we purchased for a nominal fee) while waiting for their food. Very often dining at other restaurants with the boys has been a challenge. The staff at Someones in the Kitchen made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

The food was great. It was a bit of a wait for the food, but the staff was super friendly and attentive, so it didn’t seem as long. It is a quaint little place that feels like you are in a small town country store. I will definitely be back now that I know it’s there.

After reading so many great things about this place and saw chicken and dressing was the special of the day earlier this week...I had to try it! I called in to order a family size portion when I picked up my food it was hot, freshly made and plenty of it, we even had leftovers! The owner and her staff are so very sweet and kind! Thank you for serving up absolutely delicious food that warms the soul, oh and the strawberry cake...you gotta try it!!

The food was good, but the portions were small. I was expecting the sandwich to be a little bigger. The staff was nice and answered all my questions. The tea cookie I had for dessert was also good. Overall, it's a place I would eat at for a light lunch but not if you're looking for a big meal.

The food and service were phenomenal! The sausage gravy biscuits sealed the deal. The entire staff was super hospitable and attentive. They didn’t run us off after we were finished eating even though it was after closing time on Sunday. The cinnamon rolls were awesome. I’m excited to try a different dessert next time. This is a new favorite for us. We love that it’s an independently owned restaurant. Keep up the good work and good food!

Amazing home baked food, desserts and soft yeast rolls. Make sure to try the Harvest Chicken Salad. Julie is such a sweet server with a great smile and personality. The best kept secret in Hendersonville!

Was disappointed in the service and food. Server never came back to see if everything was okay, which it wasn’t. Never got a refill on my soda. Asked for crispy bacon and it was far from it. Husband had an omelette...never saw one so thin in my life and skimpy on fillings. Because it wasn’t filling he wanted to order something additional but with no server paying any attention, we gave up. My scrambled eggs were soooo salty I couldn’t eat them.
For $25.00 we definitely did not get a good value.

Just had lunch there and it was fantastic! Delicious soups and sandwiches. We had the chicken pot pie soup and the cheesy potato soup and they were hearty and obviously homemade. Also had egg salad and then the turkey with cranberry chutney sliders. Really tasty! Excellent prices. Great service-shop their Tennessee products while you wait for your order. Their gift baskets are adorable!

Love visiting here every time I'm in TN. The staff is professional, helpful, and super attentive. The menu has great selections, but sometimes I'll ask the chef what she recommends and I always get an amazing off-menu treat. I love every cake, pie, cookie, and bread pudding I've ever had there. I can't recommend this establishment enough. I also love their great stock of local products and thoughtful gift baskets.

The service was as good as the food! I had brisket, collard greens and 3 cheese mac and cheese! It was fabulous!
Patrick Burns
This is by far my favorite lunch spot ever!!! They have the best sweet tea I have ever had and their sandwiches are amazing. The only problem I have is deciding whether to have a panini or one of their delicious specials.
Susan Vogt
This place is incredible! The food is delicious and the people are friendly and welcoming. And as an added bonus you can browse their shelves for all kinds of lovely food items all made in Tennessee. As a Louisiana girl, surrounded by excellent restaurants, I have to say that this one is one of the BEST in Hendersonville. Good job Charlotte!
Paige Zajac
Went there with some coworkers on a lunch break. The food was good but the portions where so small there was barely anything on any of our sandwiches and for the price of the sandwich alone I was expecting a more hearty sandwich.
Dana Feole Hayes
My new favorite breakfast! Amazing food & the staff is the best!
Shane Hobley

Wonderful homemade food. Went today with a friend for mid afternoon coffee & dessert. Had the Coca Cola chocolate cake and she had layer chocolate cake and both were great, coffee was too. Cute interior decor and very clean. Great staff.
