The food was amazing!!!!!!! but I did not like the layout of the restaurant. With having low vision it was unclear how to proceed into the establishment. It looks fast food and you need to order first at the counter but they will deliver to your table. You seat yourself.

4.5 Yes, it's just a hotel bar with a short menu but service, drinks, food and environment were all great. With no negatives, Petals deserves a high rating. The Buffalo and chicken parmesan wings, pork potstickers, patty melt on rye and Guinness fish sandwich were all unexpectedly satisfying and surprisingly good. The drinks had a good pour and the new bartender helped us with suggestions to make a special cocktail more personal. The "Getaway" switched a white rum instead of the sweet brand; the Cosmpolitan replaced vodka for gin; Long Island Ice Tea was fine as listed. This space is nothing spectacular but it's not meant to be. It's low key and just right whether seated at the darkly lit bar or up one level in the brighter table section.

I would classify this place as more of a cafeteria style place as that's mostly what it felt like. The food is much better than a cafeteria however and was very good. The staff also brought us our food which was unexpected. The staff was super friendly and very kind. Wasn't too expensive either for the amount of food you got.

Not from the area, and I had definitely expected better service, seeing as it was 5pm ish and not very many customers. Food was pretty good, service not so much.

Very good prices for a hotel, reasonable breakfast menu good lunch menu Perhaps the best paddy melt I've ever had. There is also a full service restaurant in the hotel but due to COVID - 19 they were not open on Sunday, soon to change I was informed. but Petals is good for breakfast and a reasonable priced lunch Highly recommended.

Great little spot whole staying at the hotel. Keep in mind though bar doesn't open up until Thursday.

This restaurant is located inside RIT Hotel and Convention Center. It shares the southeast corner of the property with Charades, their full service bar and restaurant. Had the Greek salad last night, the Caesar salad tonight, both with chicken. Generous portion for $8 and $7, respectively. Chicken was seasoned lightly, didn't overpower anything. Petals is a buffeteria style eatery, order at the counter/they bring you your food, condiments, drinks are self-serve. Decent food at a decent price,
