Food was hot and fresh, but the two-man crew staffing the entire location were absolutely swamped with orders and demanding customers. We patiently waited to get a chance to order and then for our order to be prepared and the quality was great. We appreciate the hard-working duo that appeared to be completely frazzled, but continued on and put a smile on their faces when taking orders and serving. The only ding on the rating was due to the cleanliness of the location. We understand the the eating areas needed service due to inconsiderate customers not cleaning up after themselves, but the condition of the bathrooms and floors are longer-term issues.
We will certainly visit again when the craving for a Steakburger arises.
Stopped at the gas station the had this restaurant. Didn't eat there, just got fuel and use the restroom. I grew up going to Steak and Shake in St Louis when we would go to visit my dad. Always had good food, just have not tried the newer restaurant.
