Went there with 3 people. 2 got the sushi bento, and 1 of them got the salmon bento. I got a 10 piece sashimi & roll plate. They all said the same thing about the bento. The tempura tasted off, and didn't have any flavor compared to other hibachi/steakhouse and Japanese restaurants they've been to. They enjoyed every other part of their meal though, albeit they said their experience by the end of the night was mediocre. Our waitress was extremely kind and we had no issues with any of the staff there. I'd definitely like to go again :).
I love the sushi. I know this place goes through different owners but the sushi is always really good. Ninja roll is soooooo good!
We were looking for a good hibachi place for a fun dinner, and decided to try Sakura based on their reviews. We were not disappointed! The restaurant was clean and nice, the service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious and reasonable for this type of meal, and our chef was excellent! We were sitting with a family with two young children, and we all had a great time laughing and enjoying the food and the show. I will definitely be back!
It’s a live hibachi restaurant. The cook will come and cook in front of you and serve directly from the cook top. Our cook showed us some good show with his cooking utensils. His site was nice to watch and he was friendly with the guests. However, the price seems to be a bit on the higher side given the quantity and ambience. There were some people (restaurant staff) who were fixing lighting fixtures while we were on the dinner table. Also, if I am to just rate on the quantity of the food, I would not give it more than 3 stars.
