Quick service, decent price and good food but it feels like you are in one of the local places in India. I wish the place was more hygienic.

Tasty homemade style food. Friendly staff. Great quantity for low price. Works so well when you want to order for the whole family on a weekend morning or evening. Less or moderate spicy unlike other restaurants in this area

Great Indian vegetarian place with a good selection of Dosas if you like them. The atmosphere is non existent, and service is average but who cares if the food is great. Consider it for take out only.

What a gem! I don't understand the picky negative reviews. Yes, this place is small, home spun, with limited options, but their prices are reasonable and they are very courteous. Big deal that they require $10 or more for Visa purchase--for a small business, do people know that South Indian vegetarian food at reasonable prices--I am all over it. Food here is very authentic, tasty, & delicious. The sambar and coconut chutney here are excellent. Amazing that they sell idli and uttapam mix in the refrigerator. I realize it is not standard but I would enjoy having sambar over rice. Fantastic uttapam with the sides. Thank you so much for serving the Indian food loving community! For a tasty snack or quick meal which is no frills, this place is a must. I wish I did not live 2 hours away.

Delicious, savory, authentic, street-style food. Amazing prices, great service, all vegetarian options (many are vegan as well). I frequent Chutney's several times a week for lunch: masala dosas, bhat, and biryani are my usual, alongside a couple samosas or fried peppers. A lot of the reviews here complain that the street food isn't gourmet, and the dingy hole-in-the-wall isn't spotlessly clean. Duh.

The mid-afternoon seems to be a busy time for this shopping center. I got a parking space right in front of this little establishment so I figured this was the place from which I would get takeout. The dining area is small, so my impression is this place is better for takeout. The most interesting thing I noticed as I entered was a selection of fried items in the display case at the counter. I didn't know what any of those were so I picked two items at random from the menu. The Set Dosa was Indian pancakes with a curry-like soup and three dipping sauces -- a mint sauce, a peanut sauce, and a curry sauce, all rather good. I also got a Medhu Vada, which was a couple of Indian donuts. I think it too should've come with its own dipping sauces but the sauces from the Set Dosa worked well for that too.

Quick service except for set dosas which took 2-3x longer than the other dosas we ordered. I enjoyed my chili and onion dosa! The dosas come with three chutneys (coconut, tomato and peanut) as well as a slightly watery but tasty sambar. Would go again for a quick meal!

People whining about the size of the restaurant & seating, I have one word for you: hole-in-the-wall! Food taste is amazing, although on the expensive side. If it was closer to us, we would go there every week.
