I love to eat their icecream!
Dairy Queen, the iconic haven for all things frozen, continues to be a beacon of delight for dessert enthusiasts.
The menu, a symphony of delectable treats, caters to a wide range of tastes. From the classic Blizzard treats to the mouthwatering DQ Bakes snacks, Dairy Queen offers a plethora of options that never fail to hit the sweet spot. I indulged in the Oreo Blizzard, a creamy concoction that seamlessly blended velvety soft-serve with generous chunks of Oreo cookies, creating a heavenly experience for my taste buds.
What sets Dairy Queen apart is not just its irresistible treats but also the consistent quality and service. The staff at this location demonstrated efficiency, friendliness, and a genuine passion for creating the perfect frozen delight. The cleanliness and vibrant ambiance of the establishment added to the overall positive experience.
Excellent location. This DQ is located in Herndon downtown. Some parking on the street and more behind it, shared with the bars/restaurants close by.
Get some ice cream and walk across to the red train, bench along the WOD trail or the city hall. The staff is super friendly.
Inspite of the blizzard and other inventions, banana split is our go to dairy queen treat for two. Enjoy!
This is a smaller location than your typical Dairy Queen and features a limited menu concerning food, but they feature a full treat menu. The Blizzards taste delicious here; I recommend the S'mores Blizzard! There is plenty of seating inside and a pleasant ambiance. There is also the option to enjoy your treat outdoors: across the street, you can find a train exhibit with a couple benches (attached to the neighboring section of the 60-mile Washington & Old Dominion mixed-use path), as well as the nearby Herndon Blacksmith Shops exhibit, also with a couple benches. You can park right out front with free street parking.
The staff is always nice. Always. It's technically a fast food place, but there's none of the attitude and hurry-up-and-wait you get at similar establishments. We've been going to this DQ for over 10 years and it's always been a pleasant experience. Oh, and the ice cream is of course great!
Friendly staff, but they were out of a court of things we wanted. Other than that, if you like DQ desserts then you will love this place!
Picked up some Blizzards. They were very good. Store wasn't crowded. Place seemed a little under staffed as we had ordered four Blizzards and there was only one person working the store. Two other people came in after us and had to wait for our four items to get made.
Still love this place and we are enjoying the new Flavors of the Month. The Caramel Fudge Cheesecake is delicious, as is the Cake Batter Cookie Dough.
We tried their butterscotch dip and chocolate dip icecream cones. Chocolate dip was really good, butterscotch turned out to be a little on the sweeter side and did not have much of the flavor. I would definitely want to go back and try other items on their menu.
We took 29 preschoolers and six staff members and got great service.
Great location by the trail. Make sure you don't change your mind during the ordering process, they won't change your order. I changed the size of my cone and they said they would still have to charge me for the larger cone size due to their new software.
I had the cookie dough blizzard and it was amazing. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The location of this Dairy Queen in downtown Herndon is perfect with lots of public outdoor seating available by the town clerk building. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that the floor and the table I was at needed cleaning. Other than that it was a great experience.
