This was my second time here and the service was great both times! Our server tonight helped me make the perfect wine choice and checked in with us several times throughout. Had the seafood grill with roasted mushrooms and both were delicious! Definitely keeping it on my list for favorites when in Hershey!
We had dinner at Devon last night and had the most enjoyable experience. Dustin was our server and he was excellent. Other than being very knowledable of the menu he was also professional and down to earth. From our cocktails to our desserts and everything in between, five stars! Thank you for a wonderful experience at Devon! We WILL be back!
My wife and I have eaten here several times before. We stopped here on Friday night after a flight back from Florida. Although we did not have a reservation, we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a high table. The food and service were excellent as always and our server Jamie gave superb recommendations and help with gluten free choices for my wife. She chose the filet mignon, a salad and fresh fruit while I had the lobster bisque and scallops. This is definitely our favorite restaurant in the Hershey area!
This was one of the best restaurant referrals I have ever received. Kelly provided incredible service with a passion for the entire menu, especially their seafood that is all served within 72 hours of being caught! Including imports from New Zealand. I opted for an excellent NY Strip Steak that was a significant portion. But then the dessert. OH THE CARROT CAKE!! Been many a years since i left cake on the plate. It was HUGE! Thanks to Courtney Highfield of CBS21 Harrisburg for referring me to this fantastic location!!

I brought a group of 15 (some for the first time!) to Devon because 1700 Steakhouse is closed on Sundays. We were satisfied and full! The grilled seafood mix was everything I wanted and I customized my sides with the lobster Mac and cheese along with the broccolini. Downtown Dane cocktail was tasty! They allowed us privacy in our own room and the service was amazing; attentive, patient, and fun. Thank you for giving us a special dining experience!
Our Valentines Day was perfect! We had an amazing large booth, right underneath the fireplace. Karen was an awesome waitress! We come to Devons twice a year and this was the best service we have ever received. The food was great! Skip is one the best chefs in Central PA! Can't wait until our next visit!
Tonight was our first night here and the food was amazing! Everyone was friendly and our server Josh was the best!!! We will definitely be coming back!
Had lunch on a Saturday. Server was great....wish I remembered his name. He looked just like Colin Farrell though. We had shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. They were the biggest shrimp I ever had. I had the fresh salmon and lemon asparagus risotto and apple & celery root slaw. Everything was amazingly good. The salmon was cooked just right. I hope to go back someday.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Best Filet Steak and Crab Cake we have ever had!!!
Our first visit to Hershey, PA and so glad we stopped to dine here. I hear the seafood is great, but we are meat eaters from Texas and appreciate a great steak. Very well prepared. Great service. Coming back soon!
Thank you. Devon!

The food is great. Quite expensive, but it's tasty s d worth the special occasion meal. I've continually ordered only the catch of the day and been blown away.
I am from ATL and upon taking my seat at Devon's, it seemed very familiar. It turns out that it is a sister restaurant of Chequers in Atlanta where I have eaten many times. Like Chequers, Devon's did not disappoint. The service, food, and ambience were all excellent. The highlight here for me was the best lobster bisque I have eaten in a long time. Eat here without hesitation.
First, the hostess was a hostess I asked her if she had room for one she said sure high too fine? Seated immediately.
Second my waitress Miriam and the young lady that was handing out biscuits were both gems!!!!
Miriam went into great detail on all the menu selections even though I was dining solo! I appreciated that. Being a business traveler many restaurants/wait staff lack in this area and at times we can be the best tipper of your night. The young lady serving biscuits and refilling my water commented on my solo status and held a bread conversation of which I also appreciated.
Lastly the food; I ordered the seafood grill and it was delicious all the items were prepared very delicately. I substituted the Yukon potatoes for the Brussels sprouts. I would say all in all it was wonderful. Miriam had highlighted that all dishes are prepared very simply and she was correct.
The service alone would bring me back.
Thank you Devons staff!!!!!
A little pricy but best seafood in Hershey by far. Go during happy hour for cheaper martinis and half price apps big enough for a meal. Nice decor too.
You don’t generally equate good seafood with Hershey, PA. Chocolate obviously. Probably a good steak house as well, but seafood? Imagine our surprise when during a recent visit to Hershey we stumbled upon Devon, a classy, first rate restaurant which knows how to do everything right, but is focused on seafood. If you haven’t guessed yet we were impressed. Here are the details.
We worked near Hershey earlier this year and found ourselves returning to Devon several times. Yes, it's expensive, but it's good and worth the $$ IMO.
Make a reservation! Don't complain about having to wait for seating if you didn't plan ahead. You will likely wait a while if you don't make one.
The seafood dishes I had were really good. I was VERY pleasantly surprised at how tasty their food was considering they are not near the coast and have to have everything flown in.
Their scallops are, bar none, the best I've ever had, anywhere. Don't know what the secret is, but man, they are phenomenal!
Appetizers: We've tried several but my personal favorites were 1.) Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, and 2.) The Maine Lobster Roll. Both were excellent and though I'm not nearby I'd drive back up there to have their food again.
Meals: I won't make a recommendation here other than to say that literally every seafood dish I had was perfect. I don't dole out compliments re: food easily, and certainly not for restaurants that charge $30.00-$50.00 a plate. But they nailed it every-time we came.
Alcohol: I actually thought they missed the mark a few times here. Consistency was lacking. $15.00 for a drink...it better be good.
Deserts: Everything we tried was good. Nothing noteworthy (compared to the seafood) but it was all decent.
Coffee: Meh...again. Stick to the main courses. They miss the mark on the coffee 100%. It would take a lot for me to think they'd made strides here.
Treat yourself. Devon's is a great way to celebrate or to treat that special someone to a decadent meal! I say this because it is on the pricier side, but your money will be well worth it. Great atmosphere: dim lighting and warm fireplaces. They have a beautiful bar that seems to have just about every type of alcohol you could think of. But best of all they have fresh fish options, and the menu changes frequently. The servers are very knowledgable about the menu and the different types of fish (which go best with what drinks and sides, etc.). While all of the sides are delicious, I highly recommend the slaw and the lobster mac and cheese.
Pricy but worth it,. I had the most expensive meal of my life here. Between my friend and I our bill was $200 without wine.....but it was all soooo good. Each course was better than the last....the crab soup was incredible.....
All fresh fish. Wonderful service. Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere. Food, preparation, taste, and quality worth every penny. Maggie is the best server ever, please ask for her!
Valentines dinner. Great food great service. We had happy hour apps; Blue Point Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, Tuna Sushi, Mesquite Chicken and Mahi Mahi and the Strawberry Mojito was to die for. Definitely return here!
It takes more than fancy decor and a square modern plate to charge over $40 for a steak. It's good but not great
Every other year my family of four come to re-visit Hershey for before-school break. Devon (for the past three visits) has been on our stop by list. Devon never disappointed. This visit we had (we like to share a bit from each other's plate) Baramundi with Califlower with bacon and Zuchinni with corn and caralized onion sauce. Very good. Tina tartar was great too. Grilled seafood sampler was excellent as well. Oyster Rockefeller a bit spicy but great. White wine flight deck was a delightful and tasteful compliment to my choices. Overall great food, modern but inviting surroundings, very attentive staff and top notch food and wine at reasonable prices.
Food is incredible! Atmosphere trendy & modern. Wonderful service. Had the ahi tuna & it melted in my mouth like butter. We highly recommend it. We will definitely come back if in the area.
Simply Superb! Swanky, sexy, chic! Pricey but completely worth every cent. Prepare to be dazzled with deliciousness! Bon Appetite!
I love this place.. The food is fresh and succulent. I would love to be able to go there every day, but unfortunately that's not possible.
What a Lovely Restaurant!. Our family had a delicious meal here recently. The atomsphere is very nice. We had a party of 10, which included children, and had a private dining room. The biscuits that we were greeted with were hot and fresh off the baking sheet. We loved so much about this place but the highlights were definitely the Heirloom and Tomato Mozzarella Salad with Basil ice cream. Basil ice cream you may think? but it was truly exceptional. Also, the Vegetable Ravioli Sauteed Shrimp, and the Lobster Mac and Cheese. So Good. I will say that I didn't love the Mini New England Lobster Rolls but overall it really was such a great dining experience.
Wow!. To be totally honest, we weren't expecting much in the way of fine dining in Hershey PA. Our father has a gluten allergy and he chose this place because they offered a generous gluten free menu. Good thing he did - Devon will be a regular stop for us when we visit Hershey going forward!
The atmosphere was fun and chic. It was upscale but pleasantly unpretentious and we didn't feel bad to bring the kids due to the energetic dining room and "normal" kids menu. The service was outstanding - the server knew the menu backwards and was especially attentive to our non-gluten diner. The heirloom tomato salad with fresh handmade mozzarella and basil ice cream was delectable. The fish is flown in fresh 6 days a week so the decisions were tough. The Blackened Tuna over caramelized yukon gold potatoes and mesquite grilled asparagus all topped with a phenomenal foyot sauce was especially delicious (the tuna literally melted in your mouth). Scallops with lemon asparagus risotto was superb and the Alaskan Halibut was perfectly delicious. Also included on the menu were several not so easy to find fish on the eastern seaboard - Opah and Wahoo to new a few.
All-in-all a 5 star dining experience from this foodie family.
Ok I really ended up loving this place despite a rocky start. We called fir a reservation but the only one available was 8:45 but was told they had 6 bar tables that we could put our name in for. That sounded reasonable to us so that's what we did. We checked in upon arrival, received our pager and were told it was about a half hour wait. After about 15 min we noticed another couple who had arrived after us were already being seated. My pregnant and very hungry wife was boiling and went straight to the manager. They were prompt in correcting this descrepancy. We ended sitting at a nicer table instead. Our waitress had a great sense of humor and answered all our questions. The food simply amazing. I love that all seafood is prepared no longer than 72 hours after being caught. Great beer selection. Accurately prepared steak(prime rib). Appetizers were spot on. Definitely check this place out.
I that this was a great dinner. Me and my family are on vacation and were looking for some good food. When we got there, we were immediately surprised by the nice atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic and was always checking in on us. The only downside is that it is a little expensive but this is one of the few restaurants that i have been to that the price was actually worth it.
Quality all the way. From professional service, to absolutely the freshest fish possible, everything I tried here was a hit.
Sushi entrée, New Zealand Salmon and sampler dessert.
Completely reasonable price considering the quality of the food, and of the service!
Loved the lighting that shone only on the middle of each table! Very different!
Pleasant Surprise. We were in Hershey for the weekend and just happened to find a table for four at Devon Seafood Grill available without a wait on a busy Saturday night.
To be honest, we didn't expect much, as there was an hour-long wait for Houlihan's (located in the same building), and no line at Devon (not a good sign, we thought). We were thrilled to discover that Devon is a gem of a restaurant. A variety of very fresh fish, grilled, complemented a nice wine list. I was happy to find so many interesting wines served both by the glass and small carafe (perfect for one person). The restaurant had a great atmosphere and our server was perfect. Prices were reasonable.
Other entrees were appealing and we can't wait to go back the next time we are in town.
Had valentines day dinner there. Fresh tasty rolls at the table, server was great expaining menu, food was excellent had steak and lobster tail. Hubby had steak and crab caked. Could use a little more lighting in the dinner room only thing i would change. Will return in the future.
Went for lunch. Interesting modern decor. I felt lighting was a little dim. Seafood is delicious. Also, try lobster Mac n' cheese. Pricey, but all great seafood restaurants are. On par with metropolitan restaurants.
Great Place. This is an amazing place to come get seafood and steaks. They also have fresh rolls delivered to your table all night long! The rolls are the BEST !!! I have never had a bad meal here and the bar is amazing. It has a very upscale atmosphere. Happy Hour is good too! They also have a brunch on Sundays which is nice!
Hot place for business people to eat lunch and for a treat at dinner time.... It is pricey BIG time but it can be worth it because the seafood is always fresh and good!
Outstanding from Start to finish. This is a must visit. You won't be sorry. Enjoy. We did!!!!!
Absolutely amazing!! All of the food was delicious, especially the escolar, lemon asparagus risotto and lobster Mac and cheese. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Can't wait to come back!!
Best Happy Hour around.. Great selection of martinis-only $5 during Happy Hour.! The food is fantastic and the service is amazing.
Great space, food, and service. Celebrated my wife's 40th there while in Hershey. Seafood cooked correctly. A little pricey but well worth it for the quality you receive.
Great food beautifully presented. Amazing atmosphere. Fabulous service. The biggest surprise was dessert, which was absolutely world-class.
Best in Central PA. Without a doubt the best restaurant in central PA. The abidance is contemporary and upscale, the food choice is varied, very well prepared and presented with flare. The service is pleasant, professional, and appropriate to an upscale dining experience.

Seafood delight. FRESH fish and big variety. Superb ambiance and atmosphere. Delicious and well prepared food
Really Good Choice for Seafood. I have now been to Devon several times. Yes, it's a bit expensive. Yes they can get crowded. Yes, you probably need a reservation. That said, it has become one of our favorite restaurants. We chose to take the immediate family ( including our 7-year-old grandson) to dinner of Easter. Every dish was excellently prepared, even the entree from the kid's menu. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I like it. We still go to Red Lobster now and then, but I highly recommend Devon Seafood Grille for a quality product, with inviting surroundings and a staff that likes what they do. Bravo!
We love Devon! One of the best restaurants in the area. We eat here frequently and always have an amazing experience. The seafood is flown in fresh everyday and even their desserts are handmade fresh. The bar tenders are amazing and the level of service is perfect!! Great job Devon!! We love u!!
Probably the best food in town. The crusted rare tuna was well prepared with a tasty sauce and good potatos and asparagus. Good selection of wine. Service was excellent and kids dishes were good. Highly recommend given the other less than stellar selections in Hershey.
Fresh and delish seafood.. We've repeatedly gone to devon's because we simply love their seafood! they fly in their seafood fresh daily, and this is what makes them top notch.
-my personal fave is the seared walu with the dashi broth with the chinese egg noodles. you can get this any day no matter what the seafood special is (as long as they've flown in the walu that day!). their halibut is also very, very good.
-we've had a number of their apps, all delicious. oysters (fresh), calamari (with veggies!), and tuna tartare (one of our absolute faves)\
-sadly, their filet mignon wasn't satisfying, and their lobster tail was too salty. and while i won't order those items again, it certainly won't keep me from coming back time and time again!
If you are looking for atmosphere, good service and the best seafood in the area, I would highly recommend Devon. They have a great wine list and unusual cocktails. The servers are on top of their game!
This may be my new favorite place to eat in hershey. The seafood is top notch and flown in daily from all over the country. The oysters were very good and the crab cakes were great. I prefer to go to Devon for the $10 power lunch. It is a great deal and allows you to try some different things for half the usual price.
Devon is hands down the best dining experience in the Hershey/Harrisburg area. The seafood is outstanding-fresh-well-prepared-and the menu items are innovative- try the lobster mac'n cheese. The service is excellent and the ambience is more big city than anything closer than New York or Philly. The happy hour drink/lobster/oyster specials and the affordable lunch menu featuring their $10 power lunch makes this a great choice for any time of the day.
