I had heard rumors of this places but wasn't until last night when one of my uber passengers (I'm an uber driver) insisted that if you're looking for something "different" then you gotta try this place so today I made it my #1 priority to go eat there! I don't normally write alot of reviews but I'm making it a point to tell everybody I know about this place cause there is nothing else in Hickory like it! Yes I admit the bathroom is a bit claustrophobic..y and I may have just made up that word but this place makes up new creations that you've may have never tried before so do yourself a favor and step outside your comfort zone and give the place a chance then go home to use the bathroom if it's too small! Me personally, I didn't go to inspect the bathroom! I went for good, unique food and I feel I got that! P.S. If you need an uber or lyft ,use my code if you're a first time user and get your first ride free (Uber - lrx94. Lyft - Hickory) Use it to get a free ride to or from Hot Potato;)
This is one of the best places around! The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful...very friendly and accommodating! I definitely would recommend this restaurant!
The food is yummy & a fun treat! There is a pickup window where you can order outside, they deliver, they play good music, and it's a fun environment with cornhole boards outside, too. :) I have nothing bad to say--this is a perfect late night college spot, as well as a quick, delicious lunch!

Angry chicken was great with sidewinders and the waitress was great... biggest negative was they were out of so many options, but on the bright side, what we settled for was really tasty. The kid had tots with white cheese and bacon, simple but good. So, good experience overall.

Delicious food, a must stop if you are visiting! My boys and I were traveling through and stop by for lunch. We had an opportunity to try different things and they were all good. Please get the chicken & waffle, you won't regret it.

If it were in a better location I would give them 5 stars for sure. The staff are always super nice and helpful. I highly recommend the Orange chicken on sweet potato fries. Orange chicken is not the actual name but they always know what I'm talking about.
This location has only been open for 3 weeks, but they have been in business for about 3 years according to the server I met today. This is a French fry lover's dream! I had the poutine, and it was awesome! There are tons of options for everyone. The people are very friendly, and the pricing is at the upper end of reasonable.
Loved this place. Very good service. Large amounts of food for a great price. Very quick service and the food is delicious.
It was very good, fries were crispy and the steak was very good just wish it was a little bit more but no complaints I will be going back to try some of the others.
Super tasty, great balance of meat and veggies on our choice, The Philly. One entree is enough for two people! They even serve Kool-Aid here too!
They have the best potatoes and toppings!! And the staff is always friendly and helpful! The Bad Piggy and Hawaiian Pizza are my favorite!
