Without any doubt.. Sushi Village is the #1 all-u-can-eat sushi restaurant on Long Island.. I've been to pretty much all of them & Sushi Village had the best quality, cleanest, best ayce selection, and service.. Never left dissatisfied & I drive out to Westbury to eat there and I take the drive all the way from Islip in Suffolk County...
The outside looks like a prison complex but the inside is a swanky restaurant for sushi lovers.
We came on a Saturday night at ~6:30 pm and were seated right away. The menu features a variety of "from the kitchen" appetizers, like soup, tempera, gyoza, and salads, as well as a large selection of sushi, sashimi, rolls, etc. I thought it was strange how the menu/order slip didn't show the price of anything?
Anyways, service was prompt and everything tasted good! We ordered too much sushi and I felt big when leaving!
This place was great, we went a few years ago it was ok but when we went in today they were warm and accommodating. The food was great and it came fast. We loved the appetizers and the sushi’s quality was good. The green tea ice cream was amazing and we also liked the lumpia, gyozas, chicken satay and takoyaki.
The food and service is phenomenal. Perfect for large groups. The quality of the sushi is very good and the dessert is included with the all-you-can-eat price. Very large variety of rolls, including simple and fancy rolls!
This is my local go-to place for all you can eat sushi. Been many times and it always seems very fresh and the service is good as well.
I've never had complaints the times that I've gone here. The sushi always tastes fresh and the service is pretty quick. It is an over $25 for an all you can eat so definitely go with an appetite and a companion that can help you out. When I have a big appetite for sushi and can offered to splurge a bit this is the place I always go. The service is not going to be the most friendliest but they will get the job done
Recently My father had stomach cancer so he couldn't eat much of anything after chemotherapy But today he wanted sashimi & sushi So we tried this place Nice Customer Service / Good Parking and Nice Atmosphere. Most of all My father enjoyed it Definitely going back Soon
Updated: COVID-19 restrictions changed the experience of dining (similarly to other restaurants) and safety precautions are properly and effectively enforced. Face mask worn by all staff and diners, a 2hr dining limit, and immediate cleaning and sanitizing of the dining area. Also utilized disposable plates and small paper trays for diners. Patrons/diners separated by adequate social distance spaces. Sushi bar is closed, only tables and booths are available for diners as well as take-out service. Service and food quality were similar as before, efficient and very good.
All-you-can-eat sushi was great (M-Th $21.99 or Fri-Sun $23.99 + tax per person). Friendly and fast service. Clean, quiet, and lovely dining atmosphere with ample parking. Cost a little more than some other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, but the quality of the food/seafood is better. Great that it's shareable, similar to a family style dining. Some sushi rolls were great and delicious. Some had "accompaniment" sauces that were either too sweet or just ok. Great dishes I tried included the BBQ squid, fried calamari, rock shrimp tempura, kani salad, salmon skin salad, dragon roll, yellowtail jalapeno roll, spicy dragon, sashimi (consisting of yellowtail, red snapper, eel, spicy tuna, white salmon, and egg custard), and several others. The green tea ice cream was delicious. Tempura Oreo was good, some may love it and some may just be ok with it -- simply try it for yourself. There were a couple of items I may not get again because they are bit humdrum and forgettable (I actually forgot the specific names). Overall, it was a great experience. Will dine in again.
Friend and I were seated immediately on a busy night, you could tell they had their hands full but were still attentive. Place was clean and offers the option to sit at the sushi bar. All you can eat for $20 was a great deal (literally includes anything on the menu). Sushi and tempura were good but i must say I've had better. Decent place to go to when you have no plans, would go again if i was nearby with no better options.
Sushi Village is great for anyone who's just craving sushi. You have two sheets of paper where you can check off anything you would like. The first sheet consists of different soups or appetizers (chicken katsu, miso soup, tempura, etc.), and the second sheet has a wide selection of rolls. The appetizers come in about 5 minutes, but the sushi comes in 20-25 minutes. Food isn't overly unique but enough to satisfy your sushi cravings.
When: Saturday at 6pm
Party Size: 5
Came here for my dad's birthday. This has been our go-to AYCE spot since it's close to home. It was fairly empty at the time we got here but filled up over the next hour. Food came out quick and the waitress kept coming to fill up tea and water.
They also give a free dinner if it's your birthday week ($20+ saved).
The sushi is solid here. Sashimi is easily the best bang for your buck. Very fresh fish. The salmon and albacore tuna were my favorites.
Food: 8/10
Ambiance: 8/10
Overall: 8/10
I'll always come back as long as the service and food stay the same quality!
Good sushi and sashimi. .The all you can eat is good and selections are good..Service was fast and friendly. .The Tempura Oreos are killer.
Anyone who enjoys decent sushi and sashimi at the all you can eat at $19.99 weekdays should look into this place. .Definitely coming back soon.
Update 6/20/23:
Service still friendly and attentive..after pandemic pricing as everything else has risen sharply..
Salmon kind of tasteless lately and sushi rice not starchy enough to hold it together properly and not a bit of rice wine vinegar used as it should making it bland and not proper sushi rice..
Price is still competitive with most AYCE sushi spots..
Still my go to spot but could use a tad of improvement as stated..
Now you shouldn't expect the highest quality sushi but for an eat-all-you-can location the food was enjoyable and consistent. Recommendations would include the Kalbi beef, the Pink Lady roll, the Dragon roll, and the Summer roll. The Butterfly roll also serves as a good palette cleanser if needed.
Service was great especially considering how busy they were for a Thursday night. Staff were also observed wearing masks and actively cleaning tables with disinfectant.
All in all it was a good night out and my group of 11 had no complaints. 3 hours of feasting and we all left full and satisfied. What more can you ask for?
