I just attended a wedding shower that Eli catered. The food was Mexican atyle. It was unbelievably good. He made corn chips
And all the offerings, chicken fajitas, spanish rice, a mushroom dish that was very lemony and spicy (amazing) and fruit and delicious Churros. He also made ceviche(outstanding ). Well done Mizrahi grill. You guys are the best!!
Just visited for the first time and ordered the Jerusalem Mixed Grill. It was fantastic! Also, I was given a free sample of falafel since it's my first time here. It's probably the best falafel I've had (and I have had A LOT of falafel)! I'm still sitting here drinking my Nesher Malt and enjoying the sounds of Hebrew conversation around me. ✡
Absolutely top notch, and kosher too! Place is always lively and full of people talking and enjoying their food.
Strongly recommend.
We ate here three times, and each was better than the former! Always generous servings, fresh and yummy food. Everything is done in front of you, fresh and as authentic as it comes.
We highly recommend for everyone to come and try it out
Was such a pleasure, while up here on business, to find this awesome place. Being a connoisseur of Mizrachi food I can vouch for not only the authenticity but outstanding quality and taste of the food. Friendly staff and owner. Service was amazing. Clean. Was like taking a short trip to Israel. Great job guys. Wish you much success. Wish I lived close by. Let me know when you are ready to open in Memphis TN.

Ate here for the first time tonight. Fabulous food and fabulous selection! The falafel were the best I've ever had, and the portions were extremely generous. If you plan on visiting on Sunday, arrive early. We arrived around 5:00pm and by 6:00pm the place was packed--both inside and outside. Enjoyed the family atmosphere. We'll be back soon!
Mizrahi Grill has THE BEST Falafel this side of Jerusalem. I drive miles for it. You should too!
Fabulous choice for an office catering lunch. Everything was yummy. I always prefer to shop local.
Finally did it. Made my way in for my first schwirma! Absolutely blown away. Can't believe how long I waited to try this gem of a dining experience. Thanks to Ellie and the wonderful staff. I'll be back!

Not your average
Shawarma .. but about 10x better! Wow it was delicious, there's care in every dish, the chef wants you to return! Would be hard not to after such a delicious lunch...
If you like authentic middle eastern food, look no further! Great food and service.
Mizrahi Grill in Northbrook is a revelation for the kosher connoisseur, a testament to the culinary heights kosher cuisine can achieve. From the moment one steps through the doors, the aromas of authenticity and tradition envelop the senses, promising an experience that is both genuine and delightful. The menu, carefully curated to cater to both on-the-go diners and those seeking a leisurely meal, is a parade of quintessentially kosher masterpieces. The falafel is a revelation, each bite a perfect blend of crisp exterior and tender, herbaceous interior, speaking volumes of the craftsmanship behind the scenes. The eggplant salad is a mosaic of flavors, each forkful a brushstroke of culinary artistry, with the smokiness of the eggplant playing beautifully against the tang of the dressing. The cigars, crispy and golden, are a textural dream, enveloping a treasure trove of seasoned fillings that evoke the warmth of the Mediterranean. Then, the skirt steak, a showstopper, grilled to such perfection that each slice is a tender, juicy indulgence that could easily be the centerpiece of a Michelin-starred menu. Mizrahi Grill doesn’t just serve food; it serves experiences, plated with care and served with a side of cultural authenticity. This isn't just dining; it's a foray into a world where kosher isn't a limitation but a launchpad for culinary excellence. Five stars are a humble nod to the constellation of delights that Mizrahi Grill bestows upon its guests.
This place isn’t fancy but the service is very friendly and the food well prepared. I moved recently from the NYC area to Chicago and this is definitely the best kosher place in the Chicago area that I’ve tried thus far. The prices are much more expensive compared to comparable non-kosher restaurants, buts that’s to be expected from any kosher place that wants to maintain the highest quality.
I've been wanting to try this for a while, but it felt like too long of a drive. Now that I tried the food, I will definitely keep coming back. The place was crowded, but it was clearly a sign of everyone loving it!
Tried this at someone's house at a catered event. Definitely more flavorful than pita inn. This is now my new favorite. I didn't know they catered!
The place is soooo good!! I had my friend visiting me from Israel, and he is religious Jewish, so I had to find some Kosher place to eat, and Mizrahi Grill was AMAZING!! Coming again soon, the falafel and shawarma there are the best in the area!!
This is the Best of the Best Shawarma place. My husband is extremely picky and so are my children and the service and quality of food here is wonderful!!! We will be return customers forever!
Best place for fresh and flavorful shawarma and definitely best falafel in town
Always give extra protein, make pita look like going to explode
All workers are the nicest iv meet
I always like go over there. I know I will have a good day.
If you are from Israel, or from the region, and you miss home food, this probably the closest thing to home that you can find.
Apart of it, it always comes with a smile, and the prices are very reasonable.
The pita bread is not good as its supposed to be, but overall the food was great.
Great kosher Israeli food. Fast service. You order at the cash register, then they give you a number to put on your table and they serve when it is ready. Humus and schwarma were excellent. We ate there but lots of people had ordered to take out.
My wife and I have lived in Miami and Israel for many years. We are both very picky about Kosher food. That being said, we were shocked how fantastic the food was. My wife got the shawarma, which is the only Kosher Turkey shawarma in the Chicago area and I got the falafel. It is rare to find a pita that stays together and tastes moist. The flavors of both the falafels and schwarma were delicious tasting. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We loved the food.
Awsome Israeli food. Try their jerusalem salad or pita and you will not be disappointed. It is hard to believe the flavors of various dishes they prepare and serve. I would highly recommend their food to anyone. This place is closed Fri evening till Saturday evening in celebration of schabbas.
I’ll give all five stars, because the food is great and taste like Israel. But as a Israeli, that likes Shawarma in a pita/laffa the price is high! So if i go there every now, and then, that’s fine. But if I wanted to eat there more often would be a problem because it’s very expensive for a lunch!
Great middle Eastern food , always fresh and tasty.
Very good customer service
Overall 5 stars experience
