We stopped in for Saturday Brunch. We found this place by chance, just checking out the area (from west fort worth). The hostess was a bit cold on arrival/seating, but once seated our waiter was spectacular; lots of personality. We ordered the breakfast tacos and chorizo omolet. First, some of the best salsa we have ever had...even brought some home! The omolet was covered in cheese & loaded with the chorizo and veggies. It was served with a mash potato which we thought was an odd choice in lieu of a breakfast potato, or "square hash", and a small fruit dish. The potatoes were still tasty and gave a twist to a normal brunch side. The fruit was very fresh & nothing in the fruit was soft or bad. The breakfast tacos were amazing, still warm to include not just the ingredients but the fresh made flour tortillas. They were serves with guac, shredded lettuce & a pico mix. We only drank water because we had so much to accomplish but after reading reviews I can't wait to return to try the mimosas & bloody Mary bar. It's a 45-minute drive for us on a good day, but we will definitely return & even campaign for a location to open in Benbrook!

Good food, great drinks. Our waiter Gabby was very attentive to our whole table. She made sure to answer all our questions, and keep our glasses full!! I would recommend requesting her service!

We've been going to this location since they opened, several years ago. Our favorite Mexican restaurant and bar. We'd highly recommend the Blue Goose Cantina. Try the pork medallion fajitas, shrimp brochette, and the brisket tacos with au jus. When they're in season, you can't go wrong with anything that has New Mexican Hatch chiles. Your taste buds will thank you.

Mexican Shrimp Cocktail 5 stars. Meal by itself. Except (blasphemous) too many shrimp. One or two per bite and still had several at bottom of beer mug.

Can’t beat $3 queso and margaritas on Thursdays! Chicken enchiladas are decent —not the best around, but good. Nice patio area, although the kids running around last time I was here made it very noisy. Still a solid Tex-Mex joint!

The food is really good here. I have eaten here 3 times and it's pretty consistent. Service is good as well.

It's not often that I will write a review, however, Jessica , whom I believe may have been a part of management, extended to my family some of the best customer service I have ever received at a restaurant. Our waiter Travis picked up where she left off. The fish tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas were Greatness. We are new homeowners in Flower Mound and look forward to making Blue Goose a regular stop for awesome food and service.

My wife and I had been visiting a friend in the neighborhood and talked a little too long... such that the restaurant where we'd planned to eat had closed already by the time we left at 9:20 pm on a Wednesday night. We were certain that we would no longer find a nice place to dine at that hour. But, after searching Google we discovered that the Blue Goose Cantina was open until 10:30 pm. We entered the restaurant at 9:45 pm kind of cautiously, expecting to be told that the kitchen had closed, but to our surprise we were told, "Oh yes...please come on and be seated... we are open until 10:30". Both the waiter and hostess were extremely polite and made us feel right at home. Our waitress was the sweetest young lady and patiently answered all our questions as she professionally explained the menu and food choices. After taking our order, our food arrived promptly and was delicious, arguably the best Mexican food I have ever had--a claim to which my wife agreed as well. I had cheese and sour cream enchiladas, along with a Blue Goose tamale and refried beans and Spanish rice. My wife had the combo fajitas. We drank water and shared a drink which I believe was called a "peach cream margarita swirl" (or something like that), which was outstanding! We were full in no time and asked for our check, which was a very pleasant surprise at only $51. And, we even had enough food left over for dinner the follow evening at home--and it was even better then! But the most amazing thing about our experience was that wonderful waitress, a cutie with dark hair and the most pleasant attitude. Her outgoing and friendly personality made our experience the best. I wish I had gotten her name to give credit where it was due. I did gladly leave a $20 tip. And I hope she learns of this review, so she can know how wonderful she made our visit. We'll definitely be back! I hope to add photos at that follow up visit!

Good place for a quick bite. Good price, just some salt and pepper to everything you order. I gave it 4 stars because I asked for my quesadillas with white cheese but they had only the mix one.

Located in the Shops at Highland Village in Highland Village, TX, Blue Goose delivers decent Mexican fare at reasonable prices. Large bar area + indoor/outdoor patio dining available. All the expected dishes accounted for here along with some novel ones - the "Goose Eggs" appetizer was a nice and slightly spicy surprise - breaded jalapenos stuffed with a zesty mix of chicken and cheese. We had tacos and enchiladas, and both were entirely serviceable. Staff was friendly and food delivered fairly fast. A worthy choice if you're craving South of the border tastes!
